Obama is the Worst President Since World War II, Poll Says

More Americans consider Barack Obama to be the worst President since World War II than they do any other president, according to a new poll.

The Quinnipiac poll out Wednesday found that 33% of Americans see Obama as the worst post-war president, while just 8% consider him the best. Another 28% see former President George W. Bush as the worst. Richard Nixon, the only American President ever to resign in disgrace, was picked the worst by 13%, according to the poll.

And 45% of Americans think the U.S. would be better off if Mitt Romney had been elected President in 2012, according to the poll, while 38% think the country would be worse off.

Ronald Reagan was the most common answer among those surveyed for the best President since World War II, with 35% choosing the Republican icon. Another 18% chose Bill Clinton, and 15% chose John F. Kennedy.

1. That aligns with my opinion

I voted for Jimmy Carter and I was raised in a Democrat House...when Reagan became President I was skeptical...but by the end of his first term I was a Reagan Democrat and by Clinton I had switched to Republican and Never Regretted it

2. Obama ranked 12th best president by historians in new C-SPAN poll

That was a 2014 poll. here is a more recent one https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2017/02/20/obama-ranked-12th-best-president-historians-new-c-span-poll/98149240/

Just weeks after leaving the White House, President Barack Obama ranks as the 12th best U.S. president overall in a new poll of historians conducted by C-SPAN ahead of Presidents Day.
It's the first time Obama was eligible for the Presidential Historians Survey, which asked 91 historians to rank all 43 former presidents across 10 categories. Those include "Pursued Equal Justice for All," in which Obama ranked 3rd, and "Relations with Congress," in which he ranked 39th.
Abraham Lincoln retained his top spot for the third time in the poll, which debuted in 2000 and last took place in 2009. Other consistently high-ranking presidents include George Washington, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Theodore Roosevelt, all of whom made the top five overall in each survey.
Also notable: George W. Bush bumped up three spots to 33rd since the poll's 2009 edition, while Bill Clinton stayed steady at 15th.

3. Americans rank Barack Obama as best president of their lifetimes: Poll

Trump is ranked as best or second best by 19 percent of Americans https://abcnews.go.com/amp/Politics/americans-rank-barack-obama-best-president-lifetimes-poll/story?id=56545031

A new Pew Research Center poll says more Americans rank former President Barack Obama higher than any other when asked which president has done the best job in their lifetimes.

Obama was named the best or second best president by 44 percent of Americans in the survey that came out Wednesday. Thirty-one percent ranked him as the best president in their lifetimes.

President Donald Trump comes in fourth after President Bill Clinton and President Ronald Reagan, with 19 percent of Americans ranking him as the best or second best in their lifetimes.

While 19 percent might seem low, 20 percent of Americans ranked Obama as the best or second best president in 2011, at a similar point in his first term and the last time Pew conducted this poll.

Pew found that rankings changed by generation. More than 60 percent of millennials view Obama as the best or second best president of their lifetime and 46 percent name him as the best.

13. According to Fox News Obama's approval rating was the highest since before his own inauguration.

Another interesting result, in light of Trump and the Republicans’ recent and fierce push to make “Obamagate” happen, is that former President Barack Obama enjoys a 63 percent favorable rating versus just 35 percent unfavorable — a five-point upward swing from last month and his highest-ever rating in the poll since his inauguration in 2009.
