Sarah Palin is the cement blocks on the feet of the GOP

Apparently, her speech this weekend was the worst anyone has ever given. Rambling and incoherent.

She will hurt the GOP IN 2016 very much the same way Akin, Angle and the witch from Delaware did...except much worse because they actually went away.

Every time one she opens her mouth, something stupid is bound to come out. And the media loves stupid (see legitimate rape comment). And like I said, she's the never ending Gobstopper of stupid. She de-legitimizes every event she's invited to. And as soon as she stops getting invited, she inevitably will become the darling of the left and the poster child for how the GOP hates women. The GOP deserves every negative thing that happens to them because of this idiot. They thought she was their meal ticket to the White House and she ended up being the anchor around their necks.

If I were a GOP candidate and was invited to an event, the first question u would ask is, "Is Palin going?" Many people are ripping Mitt and Jeb for not going to Iowa this weekend. But with that nutbag there, it was a good move. Because from what I've seen so far, her stupidity is the only thing anyone is talking about.

6. It didn't read that way to me.

But that was just my impression. I will agree with you on one thing. Palin is an embarrassment, and many a Republican I know, including me, wish she would go away.

13. She has been revving up for a while now, but this was the true shark-jump for Palin. That "speech"

will be remembered as the moment when even her die-hard supporters lost their illusions about her. She was the keynote speaker and she couldn't be bothered to make a serious address. It was in every regard disrespectful of the audience and the other speakers. She will continue to drive the libs nuts; they can't help themselves from over-reaching and over-reacting to everything she says and does, but I think the vast majority of conservatives are officially over her.

12. Palin is a national treasure!

She's a good luck charm for the Dems 2016 election id. Only a fool could agree and vote with the party that loves Palin. Thankfully most Americans aren't fools

14. Well, you have to admit there aren't exactly any intellectual giants in the current bunch.

At this point, I think the smart Republicans are the ones who left the party.

9. I don't hate palin, but I can't figure what McCain and the right sees in her, except

she can tell them what they want to hear because she knows she will never be president. That freedom allows her to play pretend candidate and use her name recognition to whip up the base.

She could say we need a billion mile fence a thousand miles high on one border and that we should pay for it with funds from ssdi and foodstamps by eliminating those programs and the right will cheer her on - but she knows in the not make believe land of the real world she couldn't get elected.

She is used by other candidates to say things they won't (well, when her teleprompter doesn't crash and she isn't rambling like a stroke victim).

I think she is the albatross around the GOP's neck, but she has a certain "folksy" demeanor that appeals to a lot of people.
