Obama seems to have another media entity he doesn't like...

President Barack Obama warned House Democrats on Thursday not to read The Huffington Post if they want to be informed on trade issues.

“Get informed, not by reading The Huffington Post,” Obama said at the House Democratic retreat in Philadelphia, according to a source in the room.

Ironically on the same day of his remarks about the site, Obama published an op-ed on Huffington Post about a “blueprint for middle-class economics.”

It’s not the first time the president has taken a swipe at the website. As Huffington Post Political Editor Sam Stein noted on Twitter, the president told a group of students in 2011 that “if you read the Huffington Post…you’d think I was some right-wing tool of Wall Street.” He also imagined how the site would cover Abraham Lincoln signing the Emancipation Proclamation, only freeing the slaves in non-Union states.

1. I think Obama's last term is going to be very interesting

He's gonna make history before he's done in the Oval Office.

Whether it's good or bad remains to be seen,

but it ain't gonna be boring!

2. Heh

I think he will piss off Washington Democrats somehow and they will see the need to throw him overboard. I have imagined a scenarios where a backroom deal might be hatched for Democrats to agree to impeach him for something favorable in return.

3. If you're taking bets ...

I would love a piece of that action! I'm pretty sure that the American voting public is pretty fucking tired of tit-fotr-tat bogus impeachment exercises. It backfired last time, and while I believe that many congresscritters are venal, contemptible people, I don't believe that they're all stupid.
It often appears that Republicans still feel the need for a little scoreboard after Nixon. They need to relax and remember that Andrew Johnson was a Democrat. We're all tied up, people! Maybe, just maybe, our elected officials could get back to actually doing shit, instead to continually playing to the lowest common denominator of the "base".
(Yeah, I know, I'm a bigger dreamer than John Lennon ever thought of being.)

4. Naw

If they want to they will do it with absolutely no problems whatsoever............if both sides get on board they could sway the public in an instant..........Nixon didn't do shit compared to what is done today...........both sides on television detailing his crimes it wouldn't take long..........I wasn't alive during Nixon so I have no vendetta on that.........I don't even remember Reagan well..........it was just a feeling I had..........wouldn't bet on it myself...........don't mess up and lump me in with stereo typical right wing talking points.........I come from a totally different school.........
