Remember the safe they gave the Lawyer? Turns out it wasn't enough.

A big deal was made of the safe that was provided for Hillary's lawyer David Kendall and how it was rated to protect Top Secret materials. A clear sign for anyone with more than two brain cells working that everyone knew that the emails contained information that was potentially Top Secret right? Well, now that the State Department has examined the emails, it turns out they needed a bigger safe after all.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3252686/State-Department-says-classified-material-Hillary-s-home-brew-server-sensitive-safe-gave-lawyer-store-emails-wasn-t-secure-enough.html

The State Department has told Senate investigators that it didn't provide Hillary Rodham Clinton's lawyer with a secure-enough method to read now-highly classified material from her homebrew email server because it didn't anticipate that the messages would be deemed so secret.

In July, State Department officials installed a safe at the office of attorney David Kendall after the government determined some of Clinton's emails may have contained classified information.

But it said last week the safe wasn't suitable for so-called top secret, sensitive compartmented information, known as TS/SCI, which the government has said was found in some messages.

Assistant Secretary of State Julia Frifield wrote to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles Grassley on Sept. 22 that 'while the safe was suitable for up to information, it was not approved for TS/SCI material' because the material wasn't held in a facility set up for discussing highly secret information, known as a SCIF, or sensitive compartmented information facility.

So what does this mean? Well it means that the State Department had no idea that the information in those emails would be that bad. They imagined a worst case scenario, and that worst case scenario wasn't close to being bad enough. They should have imagined a disaster based scenario, and knowing Hillary, that disaster was more likely than any other outcome.

One other question, does her lawyer have a TS/SCI clearance? If not, then Hillary shouldn't have given him the information at all. Oh, and those who claim that HIllary had no idea that the information should have been considered classified, remember that President Obama signed Executive Order 13526 which authorized, and thus required the Secretary of State to take appropriate action concerning classified data.

Perhaps Hillary should have installed the Cones of Silence in the lawyers office.

We laugh, but sadly, I think that the Clinton idea of security is pretty much that stupid.

1. Just to clarify.

It's not that the safe wasn't secure enough. It was where the safe was located. If not located in a SCIF, then the data/material is not considered secure.

... it turns out they needed a bigger safe after all.

because the material wasn't held in a facility set up for discussing highly secret information, known as a SCIF, or sensitive compartmented information facility.

7. It's not a bigger safe

It's a locked file cabinet, a locked file cabinet and locked door, a safe behind a locked door,

A safe, a locked door and a guard

That type of graduated security level

8. What more is there to investigate

Unless the are going for an espionage charge, any other person would already be behind bars.

11. Why isn't Hillary in jail yet?

For the same reason several dozen Bush II cabinet and department heads are still walking around lose and aren't buried under the jail.
They are too "important", too well connected to our owners, to be prosecuted for any real crimes they did commit.
After the elections, having served its purpose, this will all go away for Hillary. These idiots will then turn their attention to the new President, which will not be Hillary, just as they did to Bill Clinton and Obama.
The current crop of Republicans in Congress, having no clue as to why they are there, will do anything to deflect from their own incompetence.

9. NO ATTORNEY should be allowed to store classified materials at home or in the office

No federal employee is allowed to do that ... its a crime.
