1. So cons who told us that Obama would make gas 8/10 a gallon were wrong? Weird.
Being wrong seems to be something the right has done a lot of since 2008.

5. No. They just see themselves as solutions to problems that don't exist.
Stock market didn't crash. Gas didn't go through roof. UE went down. People didn't have their guns taken away. Texas is still Texas. Ebola didn't kill us all. You can still buy wood burning stoves. Kids can still do chores. We didn't become a caliphate. We weren't attacked by russia/iran/etc. Wes till deport tons of people and stop them at border. He didn't put christians in fema camps.
On and on the scary stories go around the conservative campfire. |

23. So?
Was it the current Presidents fault when it was over $4 a gallon too?
http://www.sodahead.com/united-states/gas-prices-were-421-a-gallon-under-bush--so-why-is-obama-to-blame-for-gas-prices-today/question-2508615/ According to this article, that was bashing cons by the way, higher fuel prices under Obama were the result of an improving economy and the lower price when Bush left office was because the economy was taking. So is the economy tanking under Obama? |

34. The wingers also forget that gas was cheaper under Bush
And low gas prices are not necessarily good for the economy. The Saudis are intentionally over producing in order to put American refineries out of business. BO is being played for a fool.

Every prediction has been wrong. Every single one, yet they still worship the false science and the church of Al Gore.

and just keep pumping. That's their official policy.

13. The graph ends in 2010. It also depends on what other producers are doing. OPEC decided not to
cut production. Maybe they don't trust other producers to the same.

I mean, if he doesn't get credit why did they give him preemptive blame?

19. OPEC is trying to CRUSH American production with low prices they have succeded
It had NOTHING to do with Obama at all. They have had great success as well massive layoffs have
occurred in oil and gas production in the US on the recently tapped resources in N. Dakota and S. Dakota. |

10. $1.61 and falling. Can't remember the last time it was this cheap. Great Holiday present.
and even if it should go back up, the money saved in the last few months went to pay for
the presents we purchased, so the money went back into the system, and hopefully will bring a little joy to those. Thank you President Obama. Be safe, be well. And may your agenda be here forever. |

15. You can thank the frackers, not the bamster
Saudi Arabia is flooding the world with oil in an attempt to keep gas below $2.50/gal in order to shut the frackers down. That has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the bamsters policy. They can flood the market all they want, because that oil will still be there if and when they decide to turn off the spiggot. Gas will never be above $2.50/gal again, due to those two forces at work against each other, not the bamsters green dream.

18. Most U.S. production gains are due to
activity on PRIVATE land.
That has nothing to do with government. Saudi Arabia pumping 24/7 at full capacity is leading to a glut. Some economists are concerned the low price of oil is actually BAD for the economy: http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/markets/2015/05/12/oilprice-dotcom-oil-prices-economy/27146111/ http://www.wsj.com/articles/falling-oil-prices-hit-canadian-economy-1437002047 |

Gas is cheaper around the world, not just in this country. Does Obama get credit for cheaper gas prices everywhere else too? Give me a break.

26. There are larger forces at play here
The American consumer is basically a (very welcome) side effect. The US is pumping like mad to undermine the Russian economy, whole the Saudi's are trying to undermine our domestic natural gas production. In the end we, temporarily at least, benefit.

If gas prices go down, the President has no control over gas prices.
The make the same basic argument for every aspect of the economy. Bad thing happens, Obama's fault!!!! God thing happens, the President has no control over the good thing!!!! They treat their ideology like it was their religion. Probably because it is. |

could to raise gas prices. The list of decisions/policies to accomplished this goal is impressive, all under the guise of global warming. Obama failed here as well.
To try and give Obama credit for falling gas prices means you have not been paying attention over the passed 7 years. |
