Donald Trump’s Ghostwriter Tells All

“I put lipstick on a pig,” Tony Schwartz, the ghostwriter, says. He feels “deep remorse."

Last June, as dusk fell outside Tony Schwartz’s sprawling house, on a leafy back road in Riverdale, New York, he pulled out his laptop and caught up with the day’s big news: Donald J. Trump had declared his candidacy for President. As Schwartz watched a video of the speech, he began to feel personally implicated.

Trump, facing a crowd that had gathered in the lobby of Trump Tower, on Fifth Avenue, laid out his qualifications, saying, “We need a leader that wrote ‘The Art of the Deal.’ ” If that was so, Schwartz thought, then he, not Trump, should be running. Schwartz dashed off a tweet: “Many thanks Donald Trump for suggesting I run for President, based on the fact that I wrote ‘The Art of the Deal.’ ”

He makes me sick. He's so arrogant that he assumes he can claim credit for writing a book when he didn't write it? And that nobody will call him on it? What a fucking clown.

Can't wait to hear how the Trumpeters excuse this. What variation of "Nuh uh!" or "but Hillary" will it be?

1. Dumpy Don can barely choke out 3 word sentences, so of course he can't write.

2. C'mon, be fair. He is very good at taking credit for what he hasn't done.

See, he only tells the BEST lies. He tells the BEST lies ever told, and his lies will only get better. He doesn't even have to be the BEST liar (although he is) because he will only hire the BEST liars available. He'll have the BEST liars in the world advising him.

Christ on a freaking crutch...

3. I am still waiting to hear anything at all that Donald Trump accomplished except having some

Tubman's in his bank account.

Without money no one would ever have heard of him
and the money is his rich fathers (same as Bush43 was nothing except that he had a mega-rich famous father

(still waiting to hear of any accomplishment Mitt Romney ever had)

and that neither released their tax forms insures that something in both of them is troubling.

4. Trump’s Ghostwriter: If He ‘Gets The Nuclear Codes... It Will Lead To The End Of Civilization’

If he were writing “The Art of the Deal” today, Schwartz said, it would be a very different book with a very different title. Asked what he would call it, he answered, “The Sociopath.”

7. That writer's observations filled in a lot of gaps...

Trump is a work of fiction. Nothing more.

9. Why should he?

He shouldn't have to disclaim his hard work because he got paid for it.

He wrote it, not Trump, but Trump claimed that he wrote it. Stupid to lie about something so easy to check, but that's Trump for you.

10. It's a joke, dude. Lighten up

This is some "gate" you have here.

You really want to call authoring a book with a ghostwriter a lie?

Really?

A) ghostwriting is an entire industry.

2-you might be faced with some "hard choices" about who you call a liar once you learn about the thousands of authors that use them.

11. He didn't say the book was ghostwritten. He said he wrote the book. Yes, I call that a lie.

And it was not only a lie, it was a stupid-ass lie, easily exposed. But he told it anyway. It's either because he feels that he's entitled to say anything and not get called on it, or he believes his own lies. Either way, kind of scary in a Presidential candidate.

12. "Kind of scary"

Like ducking for sniper fire scary, because that was a stupid lie.

"I wrote my book"..."we ducked sniper fire"

You tell me, which was dumber? And according to you the dumber is the scarier.

13. This isn't a contest.

You can't refute Trump's faults, which are legion, with Clinton's.

You don't have to tell me that Clinton is less than desirable. If there was anything I could do to change the nomination I would. She's not what I call an attractive candidate. But next to Trump, she looks a lot less repugnant.

14. I'm not refuting trumps anything

Because having a ghostwriter is not lying about authoring a book.

I do believe trump wrote it. I do believe Obama wrote "audacity" but both had ghostwriters. I certainly believe Hillary crafted and SURELY edited all of her books.

15. trump's a lying, duplicitous, illusion...

...and our privileged liberal friend Tony helped saddle us with this billionaire con-man,

“It was a huge windfall,” Schwartz recalls. “But I knew I was selling out. Literally, the term was invented to describe what I did.” Soon Spy was calling him “former journalist Tony Schwartz.”

...now Tony the-former-shill feels bad, but I feel even worse now that we have to do unnecessary battle with an illusion whos' only claim to fame is he that buys people and things...and we have to do this urgent battle, not over some simple purchase at a local store, but over our nations' future, to save it harmless from a dangerous Commander-in-Thief...

16. Tony Schwartz's name is on the cover as a writer.

What I'm mot concerned about is what Tony Schwartz revealed about Trump's mental health.

He has psychological issues.....he's not right in the head. In the lying department he's in a stratosphere all his own, pathological.
