Remember the Jack In the Box employes that locked themselves n the freezer?

Remember the Jack In the Box employes that locked themselves n the freezer?

It didn't happen, and the employees are refusing to talk to the press now. "“Jack in the Box officials deny their employees were in fear of their lives or locked themselves in a freezer.”
http://www.ammoland.com/2014/05/policemedia-hoax-on-jack-in-the-box-open-carry-story/#ixzz31cB9E9R9

Some folks have requested the actual 911 call. It should be interesting to hear what's actually on it.

Now where's my whiskey. . .

7. If that's the only place you can find this story, "correct" is probably not the proper term.

How about a link from a local newspaper or TV station?

corporate office said again???? Oh yeah, they said it didn't happen. I wonder why the employees are refusing to discuss the incident now. . .

And what about the corporate office saying it never happened? I'm really anxiously waiting for that 911 tape.

26. I think you might be onto something.

I wonder if the motherfucker who was a Sandy Hook "truther" who stole the fifty-pound peace sign at the Connecticut playground built and named for Newtown victim Grace McConnell, and who then called her mother to say that Newtown was a "hoax" and her daughter never existed, is a reader. Something tells me it's a distinct possibility.

I read on the interwebs that some jack in the box employees were so skerd of dem gunz that after serving the rude toters they locked themselves in the cooler to be safe. Now it seems conflicting information is coming out. Stay tuned for that 911 call.

when gun fanciers act like their poor pitiful plight is similar to civil rights for minorities. Heck, the majority of those arming up in this country are right/white wing bigots. Look up the photos of the bunch who carried their arms into this establishment, a bunch of inbred, ignorant, armed bigots.

25. My how open minded and tolerent of you. . . oh wait, I get it

you only want others to be open minded and tolerant of your ideas and positions. No one else is deserving of tolerance and open mindedness.

As far as the other claims you made, they would appear to be false on their face. Unless you have evidence you would like to provide. As we've established, they were doing nothing illegal. So please explain how the photos you refer to can connote; ignorance, bigotry, and that the parents of those in the photo were blood relatives.

36. Is the "Examiner" also unreliable or a non-legitimate source?

http://www.examiner.com/article/exclusive-sergeant-ray-bush-says-freezer-comment-taken-out-of-context

You want reliable, factual, non-misleading press realeases from legitimate sources?

Look no further than the demanding moms.

Bloomberg owned and operated Mothers Demand Action for Gun Sense in America are trumpeting their latest victory. Or so they say. Whenever the hoplophobic harridans announce a “win” it’s best to take the news with a large grain of salt. Remember their Staples and Starbucks non-win wins? Neither retailer prohibits firearms in any of their stores in states where conceal carry is legal. And the announcement they’ve extracted from Jack in the Box is no different. Here’s the Moms’ email blast . . .

We did it again! Just 24 hours after we launched a petition asking Jack in the Box to enforce its policy prohibiting guns in its restaurants, the company issued this statement:

“Creating a warm and inviting environment for all of our guests and employees is a top priority for Jack in the Box. The presence of guns inside a restaurant could create an uncomfortable situation for our guests and employees and lead to unintended consequences. While we respect the rights of all of our guests, we would prefer that guests not bring their guns inside our restaurants.”

Jack in the Box also said it will have copies of this statement available at all of its restaurants so that its customers are crystal clear about the policy.

Please join me in thanking Jack in the Box for having gun sense by spreading the news of this victory on Facebook and on Twitter.

Did you catch the artfully applied weasel wording from JitB? “…we would prefer that guests not bring their guns inside our restaurants.” In other words, just like Starbucks, they issued a non-statement announcing the non-prohibition of firearms in their stores to get Shannon and her two dozen or so moms off their backs, letting MDA announce another non-victory.

It’s another big juicy nothing-burger for Mayor Mike’s $50 million. Who’s up for a Jumbo Jack? With cheese!

http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2014/05/daniel-zimmerman/moms-demand-action-announce-another-exciting-non-win/#more-316989

So much for a great victory.

34. The youtube 911 call is from a person who was not at the Jack in the Box, he worked nearby.

There is no indication as of yet that his 911 call was the only 911 call made about this incident.

There is no press release from the CEO denying that it happened. Only hearsay from some open carry group.

And, refusing to talk to reporters is NOT unusual. I've been in a situation (not like this one) where I was instructed to refer all inquiries that I received to public relations and the only persons that I was allowed to discuss the situation with was my direct supervisor, the law enforcement officials, and, a few months later a person with the prosecuting atty's office.

Jack in the Box will issue a press release if the story has any merit.
