3. Did this come up with interracial marriages as well? Can a church not marry divorced people?

Man, the right is stinging today and grasping at straws to keep promoting fear and get their base to rally to them.

5. IIRC, the Catholic Church can not marry divorced people

Since it is a right, the State should not require licenses. You should not need permission from the government to exercise a right.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
