Religion of Peace strikes again

2 men including USAID employee killed in Bangladesh

NEW DELHI – Police in Bangladesh say unidentified assailants have stabbed two men to death, including a gay rights activist who also worked for the U.S. Agency for International Development.

Mohammed Iqbal, police officer-in-charge in Dhaka's Kalabagan area, identified the activist as Xulhaz Mannan and said he previously worked as a protocol officer for a former U.S. ambassador to Bangladesh. He said the other victim of Monday's attack was a friend of Mannan's named Tanay Majumder.

Iqbal said Mannan was an editor of Bangladesh's first gay rights magazine, Roopbaan.

The killings occurred two days after unidentified men hacked to death a university professor in a northwestern city.

The attack was similar to recent killings of atheist bloggers by radical Islamists in Muslim-majority Bangladesh.

16. Deuteronomy 17: 3-5

3 And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;

4 And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel:

5 Then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die.

2. Notice that you are quick to condemn an entire religion for the actions of a few, but have not one

word of sympathy for the victims.

Could that be because they are also on the right-wing Christist hit list of undesirables?

I cannot understand why conservatives post stories about killings of this sort when the victim is someone they would also like to see dead.
I know you never pass up a chance to condemn one of your enemies (Muslims), but you must have some intense cognitive dissonance going on when one group you hate attacks another group you hate.

I guess the ignore the victim and concentrate on condemning the attacker tact does the job in these instances.

7. Well that would be very incorrect

when you get down to the nitty gritty of the ones striving to follow the teachings. Not just people who are Christian in name only.

9. There are peaceful Christians and peaceful Muslims...

In roughly the same proportion.

The ones who aren't peaceful, you know, the white supremacists (they ain't Jewish, btw), the Muslim and Christian radicals, they're all pretty consistently anti-choice, anti-gay, anti-anyone-who-isn't-them....

And BOTH have resorted regularly to murder and terror over the years.

That's a fact, kiddo. I know it's one you don't like because you think Christian=good and Muslim=bad. Hint, the radical Muslims think exactly the same thing about Christians..... Which therefore makes you just like them in your mutual hatred.

No wonder you guys hate logic, it reveals things you don't like.

12. But you forget the most important difference!

When Christians become violent and politically radical- it is direct DISOBEDIENCE to the Word of God which is supposed to be our absolute guide!

When Muslims act in violent and murderous ways- they are acting in direct OBEDIENCE to the Koran and the Hadith.

So when you get Christians like the Waynesboro church- they are in rebellion against God!

13. And peaceful Muslims say the EXACT SAME THING.

They say that violence is 'disobedience against God'. They say that Christian beliefs call for violence. So why are you right and they wrong? What you don't get is that no matter what you say, they would say the same about you.

Why are you in agreement with them about abortion, gays, and so much else?

Christians and Muslims are no different philosophically.

14. Why am I right and they are wrong?

Because I have read the Koran and the Hadith and its commands to violence and murder, and I have read over 200 times the New Testament. I have yet to see a call in over those 200 times to violence and murder for the church to do against unbelievers!

Muslims are acting on obedience to their writings when they do what ISIS is doing.

Christians are acting in disobedience to Jesus and the New Testament when they act violently in the name of Christ!

There just is no other answer that is true.
