I was looking for an opportunity to use the word, "jejune" with reference to what passes for the..

... usual quality of Leftist posting here.

"jejune"

naive, simplistic, and superficial

(of ideas or writings) dry and uninteresting

..Then I thought to check with Urban Dictionary:

"The worst word in the English language, jejune just bleeds pomposity and snobbery. If you seriously use jejune in a sentence you a) are automatically an asshole and b) should be slapped across the mouth."

Dammit!...

1. Should I alert

Because of the broad brush attack on liberals

Or

Because you essentially called yourself an asshole

I'm just too naive to decide !

Ahhh fuck it - I'd rather go grab a fresh coffee.

2. Just remember those occasions when some on the Left here (well, the Hillary "Left") say that...

... Conservatives are humorless, and you can give a literary snort of derision...

3. I'm a bit sanguine

About your use of jejune. But I'm not supercilious about it.

8. just in case

http://observer.com/2015/11/humanity-can-we-all-please-stop-abusing-the-word-bespoke/

Why say “made to order” or “custom-made” when, instead, you can sound like an asshole and say “bespoke”?
