Fans hoping for a Walter White return may be in luck. "Better Call Saul" producers are making moves to ensure the possibility stays viable.

Executive producer Peter Gould tells The New York Daily News that the show will employ a flexible timeline that could be set before, during and after the events of "Breaking Bad" at various points. "One of the great things about having a timeline which is flexible is that perhaps some of it takes place before 'Breaking Bad,' during 'Breaking Bad,' and after 'Breaking Bad'. That gives us the ability to bring back characters that were killed on 'Breaking Bad.,'" Gould says. This includes, of course, Bryan Cranston's kingpin meth producer, who perished in the series finale.

"Better Call Saul" was recently confirmed for 2 seasons, with the series premiere delayed until 2015.

2. No fence-straddling for me.

Stay the hell away from "Breaking Bad." One of the best TV series ever, and it ended just right. Let Saul bebop around on his own adventures, but leave "Breaking Bad" alone.

4. We might meet a Walter White

of younger days, when he wasn't such an ass.

14. Like when he was grading high school chemistry exams?

The more corrupt and power-mad he got, the more interesting a character Walter White was. If this new Saul series fools around with "Breaking Bad" to any degree, I'll just watch something else.

15. okay . watch something else

Freedom. Great thing.

I want more more more! If they screw it up, I'll change my mind. If the same people are involved in production and creation, how could they go wrong.

I always wanted to see more of Walter and Lydia. How that thing went down with the company buy out.. how did that resentment develop and turn into the current situation.

I'm curious and intrigued by Walter's descent into madness. That relationship and the resentments was part of that too. A 'failure' component. He screwed up. Lost his love and his professional dream company. etc...

3. I love Saul!

I don't care what kind of timeline method they use. I just love Bob Odenkirk.

5. (not) Graham ..

I wish you would edit and put 'breaking' and 'bad' together. The tags don't recognize spaces.

I watched the series twice on Netflix. Convinced a friend who hadn't seen it to at least buy the first season CD, although that wasn't the best season. I have been dying to talk to people about this. The public forums at the available sites to discuss it are so impersonal and massive, it would be nice to have a smaller group of fans to talk with. If we have the right tag, we can do it!

10. Good. We'll talk.

I'm really interested in the aspects of Walt's descent into evil.

8. ok, will edit tags- funny about tags

seems like 1/2 the people say tags should be separate,
1/2 (like you) together (I had always thought together was the way to bring them up as one-
tags are not really suppose to read across as message, are they? LOL

will edit

9. You got it, and you are right.

It's very irritating (honestly) when people post single words in a string in tags. There is a very helpful instruction for tags posts somewhere floating around in Help. Or it may be pinned, even. I learned the hard way first. I could see what happened when I did that.

Anyway, thanks buddy

11. as time permits, will go back to other threads started and do same-I already

I already note that two or three other Breaking Bad threads already had together, that I started earlier.

(interesting side bit- these days I can tell what a post is going to be like just looking at tags, and knowing if the title is actually opposite the intent of the post because of one word or other in a tag)
so almost don't have to read the post itself to know a gotcha is in it.
