It Looks Like Trump Tower Could Use Some Infrastructure Improvement

It looks like Trump Tower was built with shoddy workmanship & materials and is in sore need of routine maintenance. Escalators are broken. The terrace seems to be "temporarily" closed for construction, but there doesn't seem to be any actual work being done. Garbage is left for weeks at a time. Concrete walls are filthy. Walkways are cracked and rising up.

The place is a dump.

Article with pics.

4. Trump Tower was built in 1983(Finished really)

Unrealistic to complain if some brickwork is dirty or cracked in a NYC building that is 33 years old. Scovell's a cheap shot artist (won't say journalist)

this really is a shit article by a shit writer.

But some love shit

And you're going to judge a building by the condition of a slop sink for the janitorial staff in a restroom?

Seriously?

Edit and to show the dishonesty of this author- note the freezer has the White veneer material chipping/peeling off. the Steel is the base color

5. Is That the Only Picture You Saw?

My favorite one was the post with the uncovered outlet and the stone under it was cut square while the post is round.

The garbage that was sitting there for at least a month was a nice classy touch, too.

You would think that Donnie's pride'n'joy building would be better maintained. Perhaps they will fix some of the paving stones when somebody trips over one and sues.

6. Point by dull Point

The Outlet is a GFI guess what a GFI outlet does?

Garbage is the only valid issue

The Brickwork was not a sidewalk but an edger

7. When was the Empire State Building built? The Woolworth Building? 33 years is...

barely puberty for NYC skyscraper.

But you probably know that already.

I have no idea what's up with that freezer, whether it's the white or they gray that's peeling, but something's peeling off the side, too. Whatever it's made out of, the surface is falling off fast. Might be a cheap shot, but more likely a cheap freezer.

8. And you honestly expect they also had no maintenance issues?

The freezer is industrial, so gets used more than Yours or Mine would be. pretty looks of storage units are not high on the list in Commercial kitchens, function is.

Escalators get shut down all the time. have you ever seen the shit that gets stuck in them (and I dont mean toes, that another issue).

One of the Main Street Flushing subway escalators was shut down for 2 months this summer. Also in July the other was shut when an old Asian lady wearing a flip flop had half her foot torn off when the flip flop got caught.

Penn Stations 34th and 8th exit escalator was Out of Service 3 times this week

9. I could say the same thing about the whole of New York City.

The whole city smelled like piss. Cigarette butts everywhere, even stuffed into the cracks in the sidewalk. The warm scent of piss wafting from every entrance to the subway kept us from using it even a single time.

Everything was filthy dirty, the panhandlers and street vendors were the rudest I've ever seen anywhere, and the price of EVERYTHING was exorbitant.

$50 to be herded like cattle to the upper floors of the Empire State Building, then hurried back to the elevator so other schmucks can plop down their cash?? You're fucking kidding right?

10. This is quite possibly the most desperate and pathetic anti-Trump article I've seen

and that's saying a lot given the rabid leftist that have spent the last year or more attacking him for petty, stupid shit.

The woman who wrote that piece doesn't know what the fuck she's talking about, but then again she's a democrat so that's a given.
