1. Sure took him out of his game, didn't it. Fucking idiot.

He was sure waving that gun around a lot. In my opinion it should never have been pointed anywhere but downrange. I'd like to know where the bullet wound up.

I was also confused by his statement "so both of your hands are gonna sit on the left side of the pistol". How the fuck do you get your right hand on the left side of the pistol? And "push with your right hand and pull with your left"? I've never heard a firearms instructor say that.

2. I was just staring at his finger..waiting for that.

Credit for not flinching. But you can see the embarrassment build.

Had a group of Sailors he was training with .45's

Had them in the "Ready" position, barrels up

Did his "Ready on the Right, Ready on the Left..."

And one of the Knuckleheads was scratching the top of his head with the end of the BARREL!

8. I will confess to a similar incident.

Myself and some friends were target shooting up in the mountains. At the time my carry gun was a S&W Model 19. It had a DA trigger pull as smooth as butter and I loved shooting it. One of my friends was an HK fanatic at the time and he invited me to try his shiny new pistol. Damn that was a stiff trigger! I kept squeezing the trigger, and used to my S&W, I was thinking the safety was on. Keeping the gun pointed downrange (which is the only thing I did right), I turned my head to ask if he had put the safety on. And of course that's when the gun fired! Embarrassing to say the least.
