3. I miss her too.

Where else will you find someone who is a doctor, lawyer, EMT, firefighter, journalist, photographer, lumberjack, fry cook, wind farm expert, sausage maker, and one of the most humble people you will ever meet?

< In case its needed.

9. Despair not

Nadin's intrepid genius persists online: https://twitter.com/nadinbrzezinski?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor

She is up to 363 followers and 16 likes on Twitter. Come on people lets help her out. I say we start a write in campaign to make her a MSNBC host.

2. I remember they raised hudreds of thousands of dollars and could not

rent even a single port-a-potty...so they pooped in their own camp turning it into an open sewer.

I remember a year passed before they could agree on a single demand.

I remember the orgasmic joy at DU over a protest that accomplished nothing/

4. I was overseas when it all happened

Dad went to some of the sites. Found it unique and to a point stimulating to see the totally different way of doing things.

I was busy patching up soldiers. When I looked into after I returned, best I can tell it has had zero impact

6. I was riding a motorcycle down the California coast

When I rode through Crescent City (north CA coast) there were a grand total of THREE whole people standing on a corner on 101 holding up Occupy signs. Looked very pathetic. Cracked me up. I wish I'd taken a picture.

13. Nothing much happened.

No leader(s).

No focus.

Just a lot of people protesting whatever, and making nuisances of themselves by blocking sidewalks and traffic, etc. I got into many a scuffle with a few DUers over that one. Nobody has the right to block city streets and prevent ordinary people from getting to wherever they need to be. They felt differently...that it was their right to do that even though it was pointed out that pissing off the people you are trying to convince of your cause is not exactly a great idea, but whatever.

It was a bust.
