4. what is the big deal?

if we can use a more environmentally friendly straw..that is fine.

we bring our own cloth bags to the farmers market & grocery stores. big deal. no, it is not “saving the world”. but it is better than using and tossing plastic bags.

feels like this is more of a feet dragging tantrum against “libruls” than anything else.

i never use straws, btw. too phalic for this alpha male.

5. Susan only uses cloth shopping bags

But she won’t drink out of a glass without a straw when we’re out to eat

I remember the paper straws from childhood

They seemed ok then

12. My wife is the same

It;s funny, women wear lipstick that industrial detergents and scalding water cannot remove from glasses. Then they get so grossed out that they use straws to avoid the whale blubber deposits

I was raised that you don't use a straw unless the cup has a lid.
