1. Just wish they would have included the carvings on temples!












then of course some of the famed art drawn when Marco Polo was in China!

Some of these carings in walls are 1,000 years old!

At the risk of dating myself, I'm old enough to remember when the T-Rex skeleton at the NY Museum of Natural History was still standing completely upright, much the same way Edward Drinker Cope imagined the posture of Dryptosaurus.

Then there were the books. No, they weren't nearly as anatomically accurate or as up to date with the latest discoveries as today's kids' dinosaur books are, but they were beautiful nonetheless. These two were my favorites:
