Health care giant and Fortune 500 company McKesson Corp. announced Friday plans to move its global headquarters from San Francisco to Las Colinas.

The San Francisco Business Times, a sister publication to the Dallas Business Journal, first reported in November that McKesson appeared to be setting the stage to shift its corporate operations to North Texas.

McKesson (NYSE: MCK)

The company, which ranks sixth on the Fortune 500 and was the Bay Area's second-largest public company in terms of annual revenue, now says it will move its headquarters to the Irving area, effective April 1.

“We are excited to strengthen our presence in Texas and make Las Colinas our official global headquarters,” John H. Hammergren, McKesson’s chairman and CEO, said in a prepared statement. “Governor Abbott and the Irving/Las Colinas community have provided tremendous support since we opened our Las Colinas campus last April. Making this move will improve efficiency, collaboration and cost-competitiveness, while providing an exceptional work environment for our employees.”

Look for more to move.

2. Who want's to live in Poopville?

SnapCrap App.

The new SnapCrap app is bringing San Francisco's poop problem into focus.

The free app launched Tuesday for iOS users invites people to take photographs of feces on streets and sidewalks that need cleaning and delivers a report to the city's 311 hotline.

4. This is a win-win

Think of all the room and opportunity it will create for all of the ambitious honest illegals the California government has invited into the state.

6. I agree

CA refugees have already destroyed Oregon and Washington. I've spent my whole life in Washington and watching the infection spread here has been tragic. The only thing we have left is 2A rights thanks to our state constitution but Bloomberg and his gun grabbing pals have been putting on the full court press the last few years.
