17. Same, I remembered the first time I put that cassette in,

between MoP, and Orion, I wore that tape out in a few weeks.

I really only listen to the first three albums. To me, something changed when Cliff died. I liked Flotsam and Jetsom a lot at the time, but don't think Jason's contribution to the band matched Cliff. Everything I came to dislike about Metallica started with ...and Justice for All.

But that song, that album, at that time.. Nothing else was quite like it. And only a few other bands have ever gave me that feeling again.

5. I can barely understand the guy, but if he's been listening to rap all his life, this may very well

be his first introduction to actual instruments and people who know how to play them.

6. That was a good one!

Here is a review of “When the Levee Breaks” by Led Zeppelin.
This guy obviously knows music.

12. I'm with her: Slayer doesn't really do it for me.

PMH is a real sweetheart, though:

18. There are numerous times this song has brought me to tears.

Depending on where I was in my life when I listen to it. Literally chills indeed.

It always brings some emotional response to me. IMHO the best rock instrumental ever.
