1. That's very true.
I don't think it's a coincidence.
People who Hate usually don't have fulfilling or mellow lives. |

2. Society develops norms because that is how they survive.
We do things. Some work, others don't or not as well so the things that work become norms by process of elimination. But not everyone wants to/can live within the norms.
Living outside norms has been a political fashion of the Left because they use the deviants to cobble together a political coalition. It doesn't matter to them that this coalition engages in practices that are ultimately harmful to society - they need the votes! Political power brings with it protection and resources. This allows the deviants to flourish when they would normally die off. But the normal see this as a threat. They are justified. They want to push back, but - again - the deviants now have status and resources. The tension between the norms and the deviants builds. That is what we are witnessing today. |

4. They're obsessed with who runs the government because government runs their lives
Trump is an Alpha male who is the type of leader preferred by warriors and other strong people. It's primordial instinct. We reject weak men and other "nurturers" as leaders. At the same time, conservatives don't protest in the streets and become deranged when our candidate loses because our lives aren't dependent on who runs the government. It's as simple as that.
People who are that dependent on government have mental health issues related to fear of being left alone and want someone to take care of them. That's why most single women vote democrat. They're looking for a surrogate father or husband. They need a nurturer as their leader. Bill Clinton relied on voters expecting to be taken care of by government and used to say things in his speeches like: "The republicans want you to fend for yourself." I used to talk back to the TV screen, saying "Yeah, it's called freedom, sir." |

7. Id say their blindness and strict adherence to ideology
has consequences. However I can say the exact same thing about those who cannot see that Trump does anything wrong. There are always 2 ends to a spectrum and the horseshoe theory shows they’re more alike than people will admit.

11. And seem almost proud to declare it.
I've had to deal with serious shit in my life. To me, triumphing over it so that it ceases to be an issue is where I want to be; not having it rule every facet of my life.

14. Well one encouraging thing about
TDS is at least people afflicted with it are dealing with present circumstances.
Not like people with HDS (HILLLLLLAAAARRRRRYYYYY! Derangement Syndrome), who are still obsessed with her over two years past her election loss. Oh, and then there's ODS (Obama Derangement Syndrome)...same thing...people obsessed with him after two years out of the WH. Really...what does that say about them?? Sad...very very sad. |

17. If TDS
means "tRump Derangement Syndrome", then they're "wanking on", as you say, things that tRump supporters either can't, or don't want to, acknowledge.
Like lies, disturbing criminal connections, barely concealed racism, and incoherent tweets at whatever o'clock it is in the morning, among other things. Serious mental disturbances going on in that little orange pea-brain... It's been happening for two years, and continues on a daily basis. If you can't see it, OK fine. But so many of the rest of us can. sorry. ![]() |

How many times did GWB come out and publicly bash the job Pres Obama was doing during his two terms?? How many times did GHWB come out and publicly bash the job Pres Clinton was doing during his two terms??? ![]() |

18. Hmmm....
"How many times did GWB come out and publicly bash the job Pres Obama was doing during his two terms??
How many times did GHWB come out and publicly bash the job Pres Clinton was doing during his two terms???" Gee, I don't know. Why don't you tell me? As far as I know, those guys rode off into the sunset and minded their own business. Even Obama, who, as far as I know, hasn't said a negative thing about his predecessor, GWB. So much so, in fact, that they all were, and still remain, on civil...friendly...terms. At Bush Sr's funeral, they acted like tRump had cooties. I guess they think he's a bit of a dirtbag. Yet here we are...so many righties still obsessed with Hillary and Obama. When you guys gonna give it up? Disturbing. |
