public trust in the social media platform. According to the longest-running survey of digital media consumer behavior in America conducted by Edison Research, Facebook users between 12-34 years-old are now flocking to Facebook sister site Instagram, reports the Daily Mail.

The report found that in 2017, 67 per cent of the total US population over the age of 12 used Facebook.

This has dropped to 62 per cent and 61 per cent in 2018 and 2019, respectively.

These average figures equate to approximately 172 million current users, according to Edison Research.

However, a breakdown of those ditching the beleaguered site found the drop off has been much larger in youngsters. -Daily Mail

1. Good for the kids, who apparently don't like the idea of Mark Zuckerberg

snooping on their lives.

I dunno about anybody else, but the guy gives me the creeps, and doesn't look like anyone I'd confide in.

With that tight, ultra-white skin, he looks more like some artificially-created being, rather than human.

Brrrrr.

4. He doesn't even quite look human even.

Something about his eyes and lack of expression.

And then there are his ties to China via his Chinese wife.

5. His Chinese wife probably isn't an issue, but

he looks so creepy, so fake, that one wonders if he's a real person at all, or some skillfully-crafted (but badly-colored) storeroom mannequin.

And oddly, it seems to be a look he purposely cultivates, nothing natural about it.

He gives me the heebie-jeebies.

3. Someone once said that if one is using a service for free

that THEY are the product being sold.

I've avoided Facebook for now, in part because at work we were counseled to be careful of our social media footprint in our actual name.

6. If Cuckerberg wants the personal information

Of my 4 ghost accounts of people that don't exist he can have it.
