Vimeo Removes Churchs Account For Not Supporting Homosexuality

Vimeo Removes Church’s Account For Not Supporting Homosexuality

Recently, a group of conservative Christians held a conference that promoted biblical values and truth in regards to homosexuality. The videos were hosted on Fairview Baptist Church of Edmond, Oklahoma’s Vimeo page. Citing a breach of terms of service, Janet Mefferd reported that only were the videos of the conference taken down, but all of the sermons from that church that were hosted there. You can see a copy of the notice sent to Fairview’s account below:

Mefferd explains that this is a “blatant admission of Vimeo view point discrimination.” It is against Vimeo’s policy to allow any content that they deem to promote “sexual orientation change efforts,” (read biblical morality). This is the onslaught that Christians are going to have to face in the coming years. It will only get worse, as not only private companies that hold the exclusive rights to the most frequented public engagement forums, but governments around the world are cracking down on free speech as well.

2. They complain about discrimination.

It's hilarious.
They can't even understand the irony.

6. Well.

That's not why they got removed.
It says it right in your op.

It is against Vimeo’s policy to allow any content that they deem to promote “sexual orientation change efforts,”

It doesn't say you have to support homosexuality as the headline suggests.

Then again, facts and clarity mean nothing to the poor little oppressed and discriminated against church.
Boo Hoo.
Take some of the money the sheep give you and start your own website. Just have your own servers because most hosts don't allow that type of garbage anymore either.

Pretty soon they'll need their own entire Internet because people aren't putting up with that nonsense anymore.

7. Well this is a private company

and thus has a legal right to allow or not allow people access!

I for one am glad. The church needs to go to people one by one and stop trusting in videos in hopes of reaching people.
