American Culture Shock: Mens Underwear with Pockets for Testicles

I kid you not. I am visiting my cousin, perhaps my only living relative, who lives outside of Atlanta. He likes baseball (he also seems to have a fondness for watching paint dry) and there is this commercial for Duluth Men’s Underwear (boxers). The selling point is that they have special pockets that cushion a man’s genitals from bouncing around too much. My cousin proudly tells me they are made right here in the Peachy State.

Yahweh help us all.

4. I recently went online shopping for men's underwear

I wanted longer legs on my boxer briefs. I have never seen so many bulges in my life, and yes some were in a special pouch. I'm still a little traumatized.

Duluth is a great company though. I don't know about their underwear but their t-shirts are tremendous. They do not have a pouch for each of my moobs, however.

little boys who can’t hold their own.

9. Yep, just like a mobile phone in a car,

“hands free.” No need for any external help.

11. Duluth Trading is a blue-collar version of the J. Peterman catalog

Now they're racing to open 100 retail stores, both freestanding and in malls. I'd wager they'll follow Eddie Bauer into bankruptcy in 10-15 years.

12. Yeah, but Eddie Bauer doesn't have underwear with a pocket for your balls.

13. Haven't tried those ones

Their "Buck Naked" ones, though are great. They are expensive at $25 a pair, but are worth it.
