2. I'm 73 and when I change the oil I wonder if I'll make it out from under the car.

6. I'm about to be 51, and still

With this 40 pound lifting limit and no power equipment, like lawn mowers order from the doctor, and the fact it will most likely last another year with the upcoming surgery, I shudder to think of the crappy shape I will be in. I'm going to have to do a lot of building back up again.

10. I would not recommend

a surgical level intervention case of diverticulitis on anyone.

Kneeling in front of the toilet several times a day, without even the fun of having drank before ward is shit for the birds.

3. I participate in the 75-79 age group in powerlifting in the state senior games. At my last

competition there were more than 50 participants in that event.

In Florida, there are about 18 or 20 regional meets throughout the year to qualify for the state games. I have gone to two each year for the last three years. My daughter went with me to my first one, and on the way home she expressed surprise as to how many "strong old people" there are.

7. Thanks. That's very kind.

I pulled 315 lbs in deadlift (personal best, ever) at the meet in early March. Bench press didn't go as well - I didn't wait for the "press" command on my third lift, so I missed out on a 225 personal best (for my 70s) by getting a 'no lift', settled for the second press of 200.
I do not know why, but squat is never a part of these meets.
