More Than 75 Percent Of College Students Support Abortion In Most Or All Cases

College Pulse surveyed more than 10,000 American college students who are enrolled in four-year degree programs and found that 60 percent identify as “pro-choice,” while 78 percent support abortion in most or all cases. More than one-third of students surveyed, 35 percent, believe the procedure should be legal in “all cases,” while 43 percent believe it should be legal in “most” cases.

When asked which circumstance calls for a “legal” abortion, 24 percent chose “the pregnancy places mother’s own health at risk,” 23 percent chose “mother was raped,” and 20 percent chose “the fetus is diagnosed with severe abnormalities.”

Additionally, 44 percent said abortion should be considered “morally acceptable.”

Only 22 percent of those surveyed said the procedure should be “illegal.”

1. And yet 99.9% of them are glad their mothers didn't exercise her abortion rights on them............

3. It's quite fun to ask them the ''Are you glad your mother didn't abort you?'' question..............

...the blank stare that follows is priceless.

5. I wouldn't know the difference if she had aborted me.

So it's not really a "blank stare" question.
If they would have fucked the next day I wouldn't be here today either.

If you get blank stares when asking that question, if you ever really have asked someone that in person, then the person you asked doesn't understand what life and existence is in the first place.

6. ''the person you asked doesn't understand what life and existence is in the first place''...bingo...

...it was like they never thought about that before. Which makes me wonder what % of these people out there jump behind some of these ideas out there without really thinking about it and/or the long term impact from actually implementing said ideas. For example, AOC's idea of paying those unwilling to work a livable wage......what's the incentive for some people to work then if they're going to be paid anyhow?

8. That has fuck all to do with the topic but

You are correct in the assumption that people won't work to get paid if they are going to get paid without working.

People that want to keep abortion legal are alive and whether or not they are grateful their mother didn't abort them really has nothing to do with why they want abortion to remain legal. Their others decision doesn't effect their opinions or decisions today. Like I said, if they had decided to fuck the next day, or had the person aborted, the results of their existence would be the same.

4. makes sense.

It's been the law of the land all their lives.
No controversy for them.
It's mostly older people and people with religious objections that are against it anyway.
Old people die and religious influence is going away as well.
I'll never have an abortion, so I don't give a fuck.

7. You forgot people who understand basic science...that a fetus/zygote/etc is human from conception...

"It's mostly older people and people with religious objections that are against it anyway."

...and that having an abortion is killing human life.

9. Not everyone agrees with that.

What are the criteria for being considered a human under the law and why is that distinction made?
Will changing the law change what a zygote is?
