snowflake deplorables stop release of a movie in which they are heros

no, I've never seen "the hunt" but don't act like this is new

the premise of these “hunt” movies which have been made since the 1930s is class warfare. a poor guy is placed in the vast estate of a rich guy (who might even have mounted heads in his hunting lodge) who has all the weapons and accessories. the plot is that the poor guy (played a few years ago by ice-t as a random homeless guy) uses his wits to take out the rich hunters one at a time.
1932 the most dangerous game
1945 a game of death
1956 run for the sun
1972 the suckers
1973 the perverse countess
1982 turkey shoot
1987 slave girls from beyond infinity
1993 hard target
1994 surviving the game https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3572960/plotsummary?ref_=tt_ov_pl
1997 the pest
2004 the eliminator
2018 surviving the hunt https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3572960/plotsummary?ref_=tt_ov_pl

the simpsons did one “survival of the fattest” shatner was hunted on star trek, fantasy island did one, hell even Gilligan’s island had a human hunting episode.

2. thanks for that one rlk

I guess trump just heard something on fox & friends and assumed that the rich guys are the heroes.

and, of course, trump's brainwashed minions agree.

3. I was for it's release from the standpoint of everyone having thier cards on the table

And also to get a headcount of actual ticket sales, to see if it failed at the box office or hit a home run.

However, even IF the deplorables win out and are portrayed as the heroes, don't you think a "mixed audience" of Trumpers and non-Trumpers wouldn't be getting along too well throughout the course of the movie?

5. i said the premise of these movies is old

I did not say it was good.

I got interested in this business a few years ago after the van damme version showed on tv and it sounded familiar.

I saw "slave girls from beyond infinity" with my wife. a pretty sexist version. and we didn't fight much more than usual. I think it is natural for most of us to root for with the underdogs.

7. that was van damm?

david jansen was hunted on an episode of "the fugitive" as was bill bixby on "the hulk." (which was basically a remake of the fugitive anyway.)

but I really can't fault trump for thinking that its all about the rich guy. its just who he is.
