2. "Of color" is a nazi identifier

People who use the term in relation to themselves are both identifying themselves as a nazi, and then giving you the correct policy position you'd better be in agreement to, or else.

An "of color" person doesn't nessasarily have to be American African, but does have to be "non/white". And so mexican, persian, asian, etc etc can be considered a "person of color" in need of protection from the white, opressive majority, and with demands that aren't suggestions, or wished for changes in policies, they are DEMANDS, as in "you'd better, or else".

And so anytime someone starts a sentence with "I, as a "person of color" think that _____________", they're both identifying themselves as a nazi, and giving you the correct policy position that you'd better have, or else.

4. The problem is not all people of color have the same kind of issues

According to the UC system, Asians are less oppressed than some whites.

5. what I'm saying is that people use the term "of color" to insulate themselves from criticism

And to place a set of demands that must be adhered to, it's not someone saying "I think this should happen because" it's someone saying "this WILL happen, because I demand it, as a "person of color, who's "oppressed" in America", even though by being the sniffly whiner and having changes enacted quickly, forcefully, and under threat of the mob, they are showing how they are in fact not oppressed at all.

10. It is also a move to demand solidarity from others

Once that kind of claim is made, they expect all POCs to back them. The reaction you get when you don't can be...amusing.

I was often the ranking women of color in my unit. That meant I was the magnet for people who had such complaints. I think I saw one or two over many years that had some justification. Most mistook meritocracy for misogyny or misandry. Some people also tried to play the race card.

Multiple times I was the target of complaints because I did not support other POCs/WOCs complaints. A couple of times it was formal, mostly it was whispering. They were never sustained and you deal with it an move on.
