Greta Thunberg...''one of our planets greatest advocates''....''You and me, were a team''....

During her recent visit to Washington, DC, Swedish teen climate activist Greta Thunberg was hailed by Barack Obama as “one of our planet’s greatest advocates.” When the two met prior to her speech before Congress, the former president assured her of his own environmental bona fides with this: “You and me, we’re a team.”

To demonstrate her passionate commitment to reducing fossil fuel emissions, Greta traveled from her country to the U.S. by a solar powered yacht, rather than a gas-guzzling private jet, the most planet-destructive mode of transportation. Her “carbon-free” trip to America was largely a symbolic gesture, but there’s no doubt she’s a true believer in the hotly-disputed theory that fossil fuels are destroying the planet.

If she thinks Obama is on her team, she’s one of the most gullible and uninformed 16-year-olds in the world. Since she apparently knows little about his carbon-consumptive living, I will share that information here. According to TIME, following are a few of the lifestyle choices he made in the first five months after leaving the White House in January 2017, each of which speaks volumes about how seriously he takes his own feigned call for “each and every one of us” to make drastic cutbacks in the use of fossil fuels.

● He bought an 8,200 sq. ft., 9-bedroom, fully air-conditioned mansion in one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the nation’s capitol.

● The day he left office, he flew 2,200 miles in a near-empty U.S. government Boeing 747 all the way across the continent to Palm Springs, California for his first post-presidency vacation.

● After relaxing at an 11,000 sq. ft. fully air-conditioned villa at the exclusive Thunderbird Heights Resort in nearby Rancho Mirage, he flew 3,300 miles, by private jet, all the way back across the continent to the Caribbean, where he vacationed with Richard Branson at Branson’s $48,000 per night, fully air-conditioned luxury villa on Branson’s private island.

● After departing his vacation with Branson by private jet, he took another private jet to fly 6,000 miles for some much-needed R & R at the late Marlon Brando’s fully air-conditioned French Polynesian hideaway in Tahiti.

● Next, he took another private jet for a 2,700-mile trip to Hawaii, where he golfed for several days before taking yet another private jet for the 4,800-mile return trip to his 8,200 sq. ft. fully air-conditioned mansion.

● In February, he twice traveled from DC to New York, both times by private jet, the first to take in a play on Broadway, the other to rub shoulders over dinner with U2’s Bono.

● In early May, he private-jetted from DC to Milan, Italy, a roundtrip of 8,200 miles, where a caravan of 14 carbon-powered SUVs took him to give a paid speech about — sit down for this — humans dumping too much CO2 in the atmosphere.

● While in Milan, he stayed for two days at the 2,000 sq. ft., fully air-conditioned, $9,500 per night presidential suite at the exclusive Park Hyatt Milan.

● Next, he took a private jet, from Milan to Tuscany, where he stayed at Borgo Finocchieto, a fully air-conditioned manor house that once was home to 21 families before being turned into an ultra-luxurious vacation villa for the rich and famous.

● Having left a feather-light carbon footprint in Italy, the former president returned, by private jet, to his 8,200 sq. ft. fully air-conditioned mansion in DC.

One of the world’s loudest climate preachers, the former president flew more than 27,000 miles during his first five months of retirement, a distance greater that Earth’s circumference. There’s no telling how many private jet flights he’s taken in the last two-plus years, but one thing’s for sure. His opulent lifestyle reveals a total lack of concern that fossil fuel emissions are destroying the environment.

How does this sanctimonious man get away with such stunning hypocrisy? He gets away with it because the corrupt mainstream media never call him out for consuming the unconscionable amounts of carbon energy needed to fuel his insatiable appetite for lavish living, the planet be damned.

https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2019/11/obama_to_greta_you_and_me_were_a_team.html

And does any sane person really believe that the current crop of save the planet warriors (ie Sanders, Warren, etc.), are any different than the above mentioned flaming hypocrite?

1. Awesome research. Yours or someone else's?--before I go posting it other places

This needs publicized far and wide, as it's an excellent example of the hypocrisy of the left.

3. Linked article did the researching, not sure why anyone would believe a politician belonging to...

...either major party given their histories of not putting the American people first.

I would call her a mouthy hole, but she's not of age yet.

I'm sure in her leftist circle though someone has found her "of age" already, the perverts that they all are

4. Nah, she's just a child who is being abused by her parents for their own personal gain...

...no different when politicians/teachers/etc held out the children to push their own agenda. Hiding behind children works for gathering sympathy etc...just ask hamas.

11. I know, I know, the OLLLLLDDD standy "me thinks thou dost protest too much"

I have to hand it to your side though, it "usually" shuts people up, "usually".

I'm sure I've told you but maybe not, I have two long time friends that I just generally dont want to know about whats going on in that area of their life now that they've come out. It's like they want to be able to talk about problems in the dating world in the way "normals" do.

I dont want to hear about how one of your come ons didn't work because the guy turned out not to be gay and was repulsed, my only answer to that is "WTF did you expect?" to which I get a sniffly "it's not fair we're not allowed to hit on people the way straights do" to which I added to my non caring, non friend response "I dont really care, it is what it is and you cant change genetics.

It's a natural revulsion of the type people have to vomit on the ground or maggots on food thats about to be eaten, it's a deep down been there since the dawn of man cant do anything about it revulsion the majority of people have to that situation and it's amplified knowing the government is handing them kids to raise.

You'll never be able to forcefully make people approve of what's going on behind closed doors thats no ones business except the people engaged in it who also have this strange need to make it everyones business AND demand approval for it.

I dont buy the argument they "try" and use regarding civil rights and blacks because for the most part, and even with my friends, unless someone tells you, you're not going to know whereas a black person cant do a chameoleon and turn white in order to not get push back walking down the street whearas a Liberace gay CAN.

But they dont, wont, take it up a notch, demand approval for it, tell everyone to get used to it, demand demand demand demand demand, never once listen to any type of opposition, "debate" is society nodding thier heads in agreement to whatever the gay nazis want, and for all that and more I have a revulsion to it.

So try and shut me up with a "thou dost protest too much", L O L

12. Nobody is forcing you to do anything.

When I don't like something, I don't waste my time reading about it and complaining about what I just read.
If you really respected your gay friends, you'd deal with it and accept them. You don't though, you just think about what they are doing in the bedroom.

13. No, it's about what's going on in the bedroom creeping it's way out into the living room, and church

It'd be nice if I could just say it doesn't affect me personally so I'm not going to bitch about it but I can't watch a TV show, give to a charity, eat at a fast food place, buy a pair of jeans, or eat a certain brand of pasta unless they've been LGBTQ/RSTUVWXY and/or Z approved.

Every day in every way theres a litmus test and when people fail the "are you a homophobe" litmus test you're gonna hear about it, Chic-Fil-A knuckling under pissed me off, because that just means the next Christian group in thier sites will be doubly set upon.

Unless I want to completely isolate from society there's no getting away from the daily sniffle fest about the latest outrage by the perpetually outraged who no matter how far you bend over for still say "just a little more".

I'm serious, gays are the only group I know who both will tell you whats going on in thier bedroom is nobodys business but the two or more people in there, and then turn right around, explain exactly whats going on in there AND demand approval for it.

There's no getting away from it and that being the case I'm gonna at least comment on it, which is increasingly not allowed because only approval is allowed for our gay nazis in america, only approval and maybe a blowjob that they'd surely appreciate, but you'd better swallow or else they'll know you werent really into making them as happy as you possibly could, and it's all about (trying) to keep them happy, (trying) to.

Because in the end (not sure if that's the best analogy, probably something "repressed" on my part I'm sure), in the end, the person with the most hatred for our gay fellow citizens, ends up being themselves, and THAT is the root of the problem in this area.

23. Then why is that lefty's M.O.?

Lefty is constantly telling people what they're allowed to do and say.

Or are those just suggestions?

6. I have entertained a SJW in our home (in fact they were at Standing Rock) and they were the most

wasteful person I have ever had in my home. They had not respect for water, electric usage, wasting huge amounts of food etc - totally disrespected our laying hen's efforts and laughed at my vegetarianism.

When I saw the fucking mess the SJWs left at Standing Rock I thought - 'yeah, did the same to my house'.

24. It's an hour drive to the restaurant and we talk on stop 'putting the world to right' and then

waiting for our food we both go online and sometimes show each other all the shit we see, starting new conversations. We are very close and I love him to bits. He red-pilled me a few years ago on one of our long drives.

We farm btw and so I see him every day. All day.
