So Pittsburgh QB Rudolph proves that white privilege is still around............

Mason Rudolph was not punished for his role that led to Myles Garrett ripping the helmet off of the Steelers quarterback's head, and then hitting him with it.

While Garrett's actions were clearly more severe, leading to an indefinite suspension by the league, many felt Rudolph was not without blame and that he got off the hook too easily. Rudolph had escalated the situation on the ground as cameras caught him attempting to rip off Garrett's helmet before anything else took place.

1. 3 out of four hosts on the Fox Sunday pregame show all agreed that Rudolph

Was guilty too. They stated that Rudolph MUST have said something to Garrett because Garrett writes poetry and never would react that way otherwise.

People are tripping over themselves to make Rudolph look like the bad guy.

2. Unknown if Rudolph said anything...but he did try to rip Garrett's helmet off, kicked him in the...

...nuts and then after having been separated proceeded to go after Garrett who then rang his bell. Rudolph sure isn't the little innocent chore boy that "People are tripping over themselves to make" him out to be. Of course Garrett should get the stronger penalty, but Rudolph to get no games off is ridiculous.....

3. He isn't the first QB to end up on his back after an aggressive and probably unnecessary hit.

And then proceed to grab the face mask of the defensive player. Once they were on their feet the play was over and the mild mannered poetry reader should not have continued even if the reindeer was still yelling at him. Yelling at him because he had his helmet ripped off while still on the ground. Ripped off because the poet was trying to pick him up by his helmet.

Garret already ended one QB's season. He had already been penalized in that game before ending Siemiens season.

The hit was aggressive and had the poet NOT already knocked a player out for the season then MAYBE he would have received the benefit of the doubt and the reindeer may have received some sort of disciplinary action.

I don't have a problem with it and it sure as hell was not a race issue.

4. ''and probably unnecessary hit''...if you're going that route, then that last play by pittsburgh....

....was totally unnecessary since the game was already lost. They should've kneed and walked off the field. Garrett and the other starters should've been sitting along the side lines. And whatever Garrett did in some other game in the past is an irrelevant excuse for Mason walking off scott free. "and it sure as hell was not a race issue"...my apologies, I didn't know you were there.

5. "my apologies, I didn't know you were there."

And neither were you.

So it is utterly ridiculous for you to even suggest it.

6. ''So it is utterly ridiculous for you to even suggest it''...I didn't, Garrett did (and you...

...know it) so go take it up with him if you feel that he lied about it and/or can't handle it that your white boy might have said something not so PC during that game.

8. ''fucking hilarious!''...is you deflecting now from blaming me for what Garrett said...

...and at that time Rudolph had not been fined for anything. Now I heard that he got fined $50K, which seems odd for someone who didn't do anything wrong.

9. Nonsense.

Everything that happened up to Garrett forcibly removing Rudolph's helmet amounted to a pushing match. Perhaps Garrett should have been flagged for pulling Rudolph down long after the ball was gone and then rolling on him. Perhaps Garrett should have been flagged for shoving at Garrett's helmet.

There is no proof that Rudolph uttered any particular epitaph, so I doubt the claim.

However, when Garrett removed Rudolph's helmet, that was an automatic penalty and automatic ejection. It may go even further. If someone picked up a five pound weight, the weight of an NFL helmet, and swung it at someone else's head, that represents a rather severe escalation, you could kill someone doing that.

10. Why was Rudolph eventually fined $50K for his part of the purse fight if he was so innocent?

12. "Why was Rudolph eventually fined $50K"

Black privilege / white guilt.

You feel better about that now?
