Democrats, primitives, preach diversity but don't practice it
https://sultanknish.blogspot.com/
Warren, Sanders, and Biden Preach Diversity, They Don’t Live It Senator Bernie Sanders lives in a $476,000 colonial in Burlington VT. The house in New North End is one of three homes that he and his wife own. Burlington VT is 85% white and less than 5% black. Unlike the Old North End, which is diverse, the New North End has an older and more conservative population. The average household income is $80,000, and a number of the elected officials have been Republicans..... Bernie's vacation place in North Hero, Vermont, by Lake Champlain, is over 97% white and only 0.25% black. His 1890 rowhouse in Washington D.C.’s Stanton Park is in a somewhat more diverse area. Why invest in a home so close to Capitol Hill? Because Bernie expects to be in the Senate for life. Senator Elizabeth Warren lives in a $3.5 million Victorian home a few blocks from Harvard Square built in 1890. Cambridge is 82% white and Asian, and 10% black. Half the population has an MA or a PhD..... Her home is a four-hour drive away from Bernie’s. And it’s a long way from the foreclosed Oklahoma homes that she was buying and flipping to make a profit.....Her $800,000 condo in Penn Quarter puts her close to the National Mall and has an 8% African-American population in a city that is otherwise some 47% black. And then there’s Joe Biden. Or, as he likes to call himself, “Middle Class Joe”. One of Middle-Class Joe’s earliest homes was a 1723 estate sprawling over three acres formerly owned by a member of the Du Pont family. His current four acre spread in Greenville is in an area that is 85% white and less than 5% black. That’s the home he owns. In reality, Biden lives in McLean, in a $6 million miniature version of the White House with crystal chandeliers, a home theater, and parking for 20 cars. Finally, Biden has a $3 million six-bedroom vacation home in Rehoboth Beach with a view of the Atlantic Ocean, 3 indoor fireplaces, and a dog shower. Rehoboth Beach boasts 7 black residents. That’s not a percentage. It’s 7 black people. (But that’s still more black people than are supporting Buttigieg.).....

1. don't know about your neighborhood, but $476k would not buy much in my neighborhood
and Bernie needs a place to live in dc as well, why not save commute by living close to work?
compare the total value of those modest homes with maralago or trump tower and the only difference will be that trump's property is mortgaged. |

2. "and the only difference will be..."
You left out the other difference:

10. Like hell. Bernie IS a collectivist asshole.
"i'm certain that trump makes use of the ny infrastructure made possible by socialists like Bernie."
It's quite telling that you'd lay the infrastructure at the feet of "socialists" rather than the taxpayers who actually paid for it...of which Trump is one. "hus limos use the street." He pays fuel tax when he buys fuel. "his plane uses the airport" He pays tax on that fuel too. "his employees were educated at public school and take the subway." That has nothing to do with him. He didn't ask for them to be educated nor did he ask for a subway to be built. ![]() Given your defense, it seems you too are a big collectivist too. Guess what rampart. We are NOT all In this together. Your messes are yours to clean up. Your driveway is YOURS to shovel, not anyone else's. When we pass from this earth, we all die alone, no matter how many people bear witness. Nobody is born or put here to be Leftys revenue battery. |

11. First, all socialists are collectivists by definition.
Second, infrastructure is not socialist.

4. Trump isn't calling for us to live in eco shacks and drive electric cars
stop flying in air planes and a host of other shit to give up while people like him and AC (many many more people too long to list) continue to ride in SUV's, fly personal planes and own mansions etc.

6. ".....$476k would not buy much in my neighborhood....."
I looked it up.
According to google, the median house price in Burlington, Vermont is $332,000 and the median house price in Vermont as a whole is $206,000. The cost of living in Burlington, Vermont is 21% higher than the national average, which suggests it's an upscale place. Given what he preaches, Bernie's got no excuse to live higher on the hog than the "average" American or the "average" Vermontese. And of course if one doesn't preach coerced equality, just as Donald Trump doesn't, one's free to live it up as much as one wishes to. One's conduct should match one's talk. |

Democrats could not exist if that were a rule.

5. Always keep in mind
it's better to trust someone who was rich before he went into politics, than someone who went into politics and then became rich.
That bears repeating as much as possible. |

9. These same liberals have no problems with
The Obamas and Clinton’s becoming extremely wealthy from their public service. Yet they hate Trumps wealth he actually earned.
No one gave him small fortunes for speeches. He earned his Role in the Apprentice, not given a ridiculous 60 million before a single show was created in Netflix. They worry Trump JR is making money from his position but can’t understand the issue with the Biden’s. |
