SHOCKER: Grown Men Won't Dress Like Toddlers; Adult Onesie Clothing Firm Goes Bust

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's the feel-good story of the new millennium, as the company which tried to get adult men to dress like two-year-old boys is shutting its virtual doors for good.

Normally, watching a startup go out of business is no reason to celebrate. No matter what industry someone goes into, building a viable business from scratch is hard work. It takes brains, devotion, and guts on the part of the entrepreneur -- and not a little luck sometimes, too. Then there are all those employees who depend on everything going right to keep earning their paychecks, to keep feeding their families.

But then there are the people who decided it was a great idea to make onesies for grown-ass men.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Capitalism allows for failure. the man purse went out of business. High heels for men went out of business. make up for men is gone. Every attempt at marketing women's clothing for men has failed.

The wise capitalist looks at the market for trends before risking his money. Anyone could have seen this coming.

1. This was and still is huge in the UK, among the "yobs", roughly what we'd call "white trash"

Obviously their marketing research failed to realize culturally we're not the UK.

2. I have not seen it.

And am pretty regularly in one of the "yobby-est" parts of the UK.

3. Download scenes from "The Only Way is Essex".

I think it's essentially the UK equivalent if Jersey Shore.

Here's an article:
