LA's crowd sucks.

It doesn't even seem like play-off baseball, much less the World Series.

Maybe they're all stoned.

1. I've been told that watching the grass grow is more fun when you are stoned.

We are not professional sports fans in our home.

2. They are a lot like cubbie fans

Not real baseball fans. Just go to be seen. Lame .

4. LA fans are the most devastating in all of sports b/c if you don't win WE DON'T CARE

All L.A. fans are for the most part fair-weather, jump on the train fans.

I have spent time in places where that LIVE for their teams (or select teams). Pittsburgh, Chicago, Dallas (where I live now). People go NUTS when their team loses, especially if it is in the final (NBA playoffs, SB, World Series, Stanley Cup).

In L.A. today the reaction is "we lost in 4? Bummer. 2nd year in a row? Do tell! *yawn* -- Off to the beach!"

The opposite of love is NOT hate. The opposite of love is indifference.

6. b/c the Angels kicked ass in 2002

It is when the team is NOT doing well, or does well and fails, that the fans are put to the test.

L.A. fans just yawn and move on to other things.

7. It was the world series

The Dodgers were doing well. They got there. Their fans just suck.

8. Yes -- that was my point

Unless you are somehow differentiating Angels fans from L.A. fan behavior overall?

9. I went to see the Saints play LA in Los Angeles once

Never again. Those fans were animals. They beat a Saints fan to a pulp and the police just stood and watched.

10. And in other sports news....

the NFL's teams have some pretty sucky crowds too.

Buffalo Bills fans like throwing interesting items onto the field.

Third year in a row this has happened.
