Starting this thread to discuss all things EPL. However, I am not limited to the Premier League or to discussion about other leagues, Champions League, or Europa.

Getting started, name your team (if you have one) or the league(s) you follow.

As you can see, I don't post much here, but I'll check on this thread if there's enough action.

Millwall F.C.
EPL, Championship, Champions League, Bundesliga
As far as big clubs, I lean towards Bayern Munich

Next up for the EPL: 40 games in 14 days.

1. As noted in another thread, Arsenal

With Emery replacing Wenger this year, there’s a new spirit in the team. Despite trailing or being tied at the half, the Gunners have fought back. If matches had ended with the halftime score, Arsenal would be 19th in the League. They are 5th, eight points clear of United with a +14 GD on United.

Also topped their group in the Europa League, a group that contained Sporting Lisbon. Emery has previously won three Europa League titles.

You’ve talked about their midfield, but they are all outstanding individual players. They simply need to form a more cohesive unit. Ramsey appears to be on his way out. Ozil needs to step up, but I’m unsure he ever will. Best thing to happen in 2018: Getting rid of Sanchez. Goals for this season: Finish third and win the Europa League.

In the late 90s I went to the Old Den. Interesting place, shall we say.

2. The Den

No one likes us, no one likes us
No one likes us, we don't care.
We are Millwall, Super Millwall
We are Millwall from The Den.

As for Arsenal, Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang need to step up, and they need a defense. They aren't ready for the Champions League. Winning Europa would definitely be an accomplishment over their talent level at this point. Immediate goal: Find someone in the transfer window that can create. Summer goal: Spend a whole lot of money upgrading. That won't be easy since MU, Real, and Bayern are all looking to rebuild and/or replace retiring players.

But we will see.
