1. i don't know about that rule

i'd normally want to see that as a "wild pitch" (if the pitcher threw it far out) or a "passed ball" (if the catcher couldn't catch it.) that would allow any base runners to steal, but the batter would not take first unless "catcher drops third strike." (and then he would have to beat a throw to 1st.)

I do like the electronic umpire idea.

I just moved my car back down to the street. I think we are ok. you?

2. I think the idea to let balls and strikes to be ruled with electronics is a great idea
