NRL/Precision Rifle Shooting

A video from an NRL match. Its a great shoot. Hubby has gone to a couple, though they are a drive from where we live. He did OK with novice equipment as well.

1. The video didn't seem to post.

I'd be interested in seeing it.

7. Some are. Doesn't have to be

We have added some suppressors to the inventory now that we live in a free state.

8. Good for you

I've though about getting a can for a AR and 9mm but don't want the hassle of dealing with the stamp. I was hoping the Hearing Protection Act would pass but I doubt it ever will

We got a variety of them. Most interesting was the 9mm one on a Ruger carbine. Light, no noise, no recoil.

10. I'm thinking of getting one of those Ruger carbines as my Xmas present to myself this year

https://ruger.com/products/pcCarbine/specSheets/19115.html

That version reminds me of the old PPSh-41. I tested one at the range last month and kept saying "For The Motherland" every time I pulled the trigger

Gotta see what my M-1 Carbine rebuilds run at the shop that doing them. Last one ran a grand but I had a new barrel installed. One there now should just need some new springs and new rear sight, same with the last one I plan on running through

11. They are amazing little carbines

We have ours set up for Glock magazines. No recoil to speak of, and very quiet with the suppressor and subsonic ammo.

12. Years ago, I bought a Marlin 9mm carbine before they stopped selling them.

Still in my locker; haven't shot it in years. It might be fun to take it back out.

5. It is amazing watching what they can do and the wind there was wild.

My eyes are not that good anymore. There were some, several, big money rifles there and a few pretty stock chassis rifles too.

6. They run classes of equipment to help level things out a bit.
