2. Only one: 30-30 for a T/C Contender single-shot

rifle, although I haven't loaded any since I gave up hunting a few years ago. This was my deer/pig gun in California. Here in WA state I'd rather fish than hunt. In California, hunting was easier to get to than fishing from where I was in the SF Bay (trout fishing in streams I mean).

I mostly shoot handguns, and I load 380, 9mm and 38 Spl for those. I'm not sure if I'll load or shoot 30-30 anymore since rifle shooting doesn't appeal to me much if it's not related to hunting. I'm already obsessive-compulsive enough without worrying about sub-MOA groups.

4. I reload for a handful of rifle catridges

Here are my rifle calibers:
.223 Rem (plinking, coyote & varmint)
6.5 Creedmoor (med. game & match)
.270 Wby Mag (med. game)
9mm (plinking w/ Colt 6450)
.308 (med. game & match)
.30-06 (med. game)

I mainly reload high volume ammo for handguns (9mm, .38 Spc/357 Mag, 10mm, .45 ACP & .44 Mag)

I use Hornady Classic, Lyman T-mag, Dillon 550b and Dillon 650xl presses.

5. Weatherby 7mm

Have never had a weatherby cartridge but do have a Wby rifle, a Euromark in 8x68S that belonged to my uncle. When first wanting to build 7mm long range rifle I had read much about the Wby 7mm. However for my application I chose the Rem over the STW. The STW was way over bore for bullet diameter and barrel life not sufficient.

Were you from Colorado at one time, Longmont? Beleive I remember speaking with you about this at one time.

7. My 7x57

Is an ultra light built by NULA, like yours, has the same POI on the cold bore shot. The second shot always moves up and left .5 inches and the subsequent shots keep stringing up and left. For a hunting rifle I am only concerned with the cold bore shot anyway.

Yes, I thought we had spoke of Longmont before. I live in Gilpin county and have a machine shop in Longmont and a assembly shop near Niwot.

When you come back here to visit do you hunt? Elk season was good to us this year, filled all tags.
