Robots already programmed to kill?

When programming robot controlled cars they have to deal with situations where any action will result in human injury or death ..
A headon collision OR turn right and hit a pedestrian.

1. Kill the pedestrian.

Unless the robot can know how many people are in the other car.

2. Asimov would not be pleased!

Three Laws of Robotics

A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
