Vatican Issues Far-Left Declaration on Climate Change, ‘Very Fabric of Life on Earth at Grave Risk’
In a dramatic declaration punctuated by dire threats and warnings, the Vatican is urging the world to “decarbonize the energy system as early as possible and no later than mid-century” to avoid irreversible damage to humans and ecosystems.
In its newly released “Final Declaration: Our Planet, Our Health, Our Responsibility” from a November workshop on climate change, air pollution and health, the Pontifical Academy of Sciences warns that “there is less than a decade” to put in place a series of sweeping measures to counteract the effects of human-induced climate change. “The time to act is now,” it reads.
Surprisingly for a statement coming from an academy of “science,” the document is riddled with unscientific assertions in a bizarre mix of political ideology and apocalyptic hyperbole.

The Pope’s Marxist Head of the Jesuits
Venezuelan Communist and Modernist, is carrying out Francis’s agenda.
Understanding the adage that personnel is policy, Pope Francis has been planting Marxists throughout the Church, including at the top of the troubled religious order to which he belongs. In 2016, the Jesuits, with the blessing of Pope Francis, installed as its general superior a Venezuelan, Fr. Arturo Sosa Abascal, whose communist convictions have long been known.

Sosa has written about the “Marxist mediation of the Christian Faith,” arguing that the Church should “understand the existence of Christians who simultaneously call themselves Marxists and commit themselves to the transformation of the capitalist society into a socialist society.” In 1989, he signed a letter praising Fidel Castro.

3. some jesuits are informed by liberation theology

very common in latin america where capitalism continues to ravage the people and countryside.

i don't think mao or castro would recognize liberation theology as any form of "godless communism."

4. Liberation theology is indeed rooted in Marxism

and atheistic materialism. It is in opposition to Catholic social justice and it was officially condemned by the Church in 1984.

5. You may be right in how Mao or Castro would view liberation theology.

But I find most of the differences between the various forms of Marxism/socialism/communism to be inconsequential.

Marxism
Socialism
Leninism
Stalinism
Trotskyism
Maoism
Dengism
Titoism
Eurocommunism
Luxemburgism
Anarchist communism
Christian communism
Democratic socialism
etc.

Libs in coffee shops seem to go on endlessly about the miniscule differences. IMO all of these variants are simply different paths leading to the same outcome: totalitarianism, poverty, misery, anti-freedom, anti-private property, anti-meritocracy, crushing the human spirit. The (many) roads to hell are paved with good intentions. But in the end all of these collectivist concepts lead to hell.

6. Many heresies and heterodoxies

have entered the Church in the 20th century. This is just another one. Pope France is sadly more concerned with liberalism and all its pet ideologies and social issues than he is with sound doctrine, matters of historical faith, and uniting the Church in its majesty of tradition.
