It's Been One of the Most Miserable Starts to Winter on Record

By Jonathan Erdman

It's already one of the coldest and snowiest starts to the winter season in parts of the Northeast, Midwest and Plains, and we haven't finished November yet.

According to the Accumulated Winter Season Severity Index (AWSSI) from the Midwest Regional Climate Center, 74 cities from New England to the Plains and Rockies have seen an extreme season-to-date of cold and snow as of Nov. 27.

This index takes into account the "intensity and persistence of cold weather, the frequency and amount of snow and the amount and persistence of snow on the ground," the Midwest Regional Climate Center says. Wind and mixed precipitation, such as freezing rain, are not a part of the index.

The index uses five categories – mild, moderate, average, severe and extreme – to rate the severity of winter weather in cities across the U.S.

2. And of course this ALL is due to global warming. ...

Because global warming causes cold, snowy winters. Al Gore and 99.999999999% of scientists agree. This is definitely settled science. If you argue against this you are an uneducated fool.

However I am a Deplorable which means I am not into political correctness, group think and the liberal Global Warming Religion and its prophet Al Gore.

I am now 72 but oddly I seem to have a better memory than many half my age. For example I remember a lot of global warming predictions that flopped hilariously. Why should I believe the current predictions will be far more reliable than the older ones?

4. I will accept the climate is warming and we may contributing to that trend to a degree. ...

I have been around long enough not to be terrified when a group of scientists who are receiving grant money from the government to verify global warming come up with a report that verifies it.
