Earths magnetic pole is on the move.

https://www.news.com.au/technology/science/earths-magnetic-pole-is-on-the-move-fast-and-we-dont-know-why/news-story/341c92307a6b19d25b38836c6097be9d

Earth’s magnetic pole is on the move and we don’t know why.

Earth’s magnetic field is what allows us to exist. It deflects harmful radiation. It keeps our water and atmosphere in place. But now it’s acting up — and nobody knows why.

Planet Earth is alive. Deep beneath its skin, its life blood — rivers of molten iron — pulse around its core. And this mobile iron is what generates the magnetic field that causes auroras — and keeps us alive.
But, according to the science journal Nature, something strange is going on deep down below.

It’s causing the magnetic North Pole to ‘skitter’ away from Canada, towards Siberia.
“The magnetic pole is moving so quickly that it has forced the world’s geomagnetism experts into a rare move,”

But the movement of the north magnetic pole has been the object of study since 1831. Initially, it was tracked moving into the Arctic Ocean at a rate of about 15km each year. But, since the mid 1990s, it has picked up speed.
It’s now shifting at a rate of about 55km a year.

How will they spin this to make it man made?

1. How long before someone blames global warming?

2. Are we not due for a total poll shift? Overdue as I recall.

8. There isnt a clear enough pattern to say

Depending on how you measure, we have been in the current mode for 780,000 years or 41,000 years.

Around 41,000 years ago the poles switched briefly for about 250 years. Events that short aren’t considered true reversals - so people say it has been 780,000 years - but it isn’t quite true.

3. The movement of the magnetic pole is obviously a result of global warming. ...

The ice in the Arctic Ocean is melting making is easier for the magnetic pole to move.

Al Gore will announce this fact and it’s terrifying consequences any day now. The solution is simple. We must all give up our cars and set the thermostats in our homes at 45 degrees in the winter and 98 degrees in the summer. We also need to do away with all fossil fuel power plants (except in China and India of course) and rely totally on solar and wind in five years. 97% of scientists believe this is our last chance to save our planet and the entire solar system.

4. I blame Trump

but it really started under G.W. Bush.

Obozo tried to stop it but his handlers didn't know what to put into the TOTUS to do so.

5. We can stop it

We just need to pay more taxes.

7. I actually think the "warming" is happening from within.

I don't know if there are temperature sensors deep in the ground but I bet they'd show a warming trend. Smegma. It's hurting the Earth.

Oh wait...

Never mind.

13. worse than CNN.

at one time CNN actually reported news. They no longer do, but were once upon a time: legit.
This blog merely exists to present rumor as news, hoping to fool the gullible like Lefty in the OP.

10. Magnetic Variation and Deviartion have always been on the move that we know of

Magnetic Variation is the difference between magnetic north and geographic north.

Then, also, there are local variations that cause a magnetic compass to point in other directions. Airport runways are numbered in reference to their magnetic orientation. The magnetic fields at airports have been known to change over time so much that it has been necessary to repaint the numbers on the runways.

Dat ain't no bullshit.
