It just snowed in L.A., first time since 1962. Thx for turning the weather controller off Mr. Trump

https://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-california-snow-20190221-story.html

And yes we do have one, by controlling the jet stream we control the path of stormfronts and divert them one way or the other. We can force a deluge of rain one direction or we can cause droughts. We have much better tech than that these days but anyone who doesn't believe the US military has weather control as an operational force multiplier is lying to themselves, or letting the "news" lie to them.

1. If they could control the weather,

Do you really think making it snow in LA would be what they would use such a powerful technology for?

2. No, convincing people that man is warming the planet is more important

When communists, I mean socialists, I mean fascists, I mean democrats are in charge.

Turning it off and allowing natural weather patterns to return makes people think things like "if the Earth is warming, why is it cold enough to snow in LA"?

I know the deep state doesn't like real world evidence being taken to conclusions by the masses, but yet there it is, snow in LA, first time since 1962. How can that be in a "warming enviroment"?

3. Do you have any idea how much energy it would take?

Unbelievable amounts of energy.
They wouldn't be able to hide this usage of energy.
Enough energy to disrupt weather patterns that follow the laws of thermodynamics.

Just to condense the air and create clouds and remove enough thermal energy from the atmosphere to make it snow would absolutely be noticeable and quite impossible.
Then this energy has to go somewhere, making it very hot somewhere else.
Then they'd have to control where this energy is transferred to,which would require more energy.
It just isn't possible with our technology to find a medium for and to generate and use that much energy without anyone having a clue about it.
It's a fantasy, if you will.

9. If I thought for a second you would understand

Thermodynamics and how CO2 effects long and shortwave radiation I'd give you a quick explanation.
You don't though.
Or else you would have commented on my post instead of throwing a strawman out.

11. I do understand, thus why it's totally asinine to believe us humans can STOP the Earth from warming

or cooling more than 1.5C over the next 100 years. What kind of an arrogant asshole does one need to be to believe that THEY can control the Earth like that??????????????????????????????????????

12. You confuse controlling the weather with the rise in thermal energy absorbed by the earth system.

If you think those are the same thing, then no, you clearly do not understand it.

17. When you brought the strawman up in the first place.

The topic was manipulating the weather, you brought up global temperature rising/declining.

If it wasn't for fallacious logic, you'd have none at all.

18. Uh, your post #3 brought up the topic on energy requirements for changing weather...

...I merely expanded that to cover climate change...unless you somehow can believe that would take less energy? But I can understand why you'd avoid calling out democrats/lefties who believe we can stop the Earth from warming/cooling.

19. Right. I was on topic.

You threw out a fallacious argument about global warming.

It won't take energy to slow down the earth's retention of thermal energy, it requires a means to let the same amount of thermal energy escape as it is receives.

Not the same thing.

But hey, you said you understand it.
Lol

20. Cool, do tell how you'd do that without the use of any energy..........

21. You won't have to add energy to the system.

Just remove what is slowing the system's ability to reject the energy before it can be absorbed.

If you want your coffee to cool down faster, you don't add thermal energy to it, you remove the blanket of steam allowing it to cool.
You can blow on it if you wish.
Now one might say that is adding energy to the system, but it's not. The liquid is the system that is trying to cool.

25. I misread it. It happens.

You wouldn't use energy as much as transfer it within the earth's system. That could be considered using energy if one really had to use that definition.

One of the first things you'd have to do is find what is causing the energy to be absorbed into the system and try to eliminate that if the source of thermal energy cannot be turned off. If you can't reduce or eliminate what is causing the retention of thermal energy in the system, it's gonna keep heating up.

8. Like the amount of energy created by the HAARP array?

That has been proven to have nudged the jet stream one direction or the other when in operation? That kind of energy?

10. So then where is the big mystery?

If they can control the jet stream, they aren't exactly hiding it are they?

It's a fantasy.
HAARP can't control the damn weather.

13. Yes it can

By diverting the jet stream areas that normally get rain can be deprived of it, and areas that get certain amounts of it can be deluged with it. Droughts and floods, and yet theres no way it controls the weather.

14. Except it doesn't.

None of them do.
Do you think HAARP is the only and most powerful one? With it's puny 3.6 mW?

Mu Radar – is a 1 megawatt facility in Japan

Arecibo Observatory – is a 2 megawatt facility in Puerto Rico

HIPAS – is a 70 megawatt facility in Fairbanks, Alaska

Sura – is a 190 megawatt facility in central Russia

EISCAT – is a 1 gigawatt facility in Tromso, North Norway --- Almost 300 times as powerful as HAARP.

I suppose they are all in cahoots..

26. HAARP is an example of a good idea gone bad

Originally intended to curb the epidemic of increasing Leftist thinking, A glitch in the project created Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, that cowgirl from Florida, and most recently AOC. The 390 million the military spent to build the experimental project has been deemed a major failure.

A recent major concern is islands tipping over from over population.

The damage done cannot be reversed by HAARP. All that can be done now is to shut the system down and hope the effect wears off. However, nobody knows how long that will take.

Some of the negative effects can be witnessed in this forum.

15. It really pisses me off about the poiticalization of our climate. I've read some research

that indicates that our climate IS shifting. . . to the much colder direction. But we've become so politicized, that serious, professional discussion of the topic is impossible. The politicization, and the faked data from the left is truly dangerous!
