When climate change folks cite this years tornado activity as supporting evidence of their theory.

Remind them of the evening/morning of April 3/4, 1974.

2. Their ''supporting evidence'' is like sitting on a beach for 15 minutes while tide comes in...

...collecting data, and then preaching about how all the evidence shows that the world will soon flood.

6. it's pointless.

He'll dig up some loon blog and quote someone who doesn't read or have the ability to understand actual scientific research and instead goes by what other loons say about it. Blind leading the blind.

You could show him real scientific research that explains how CO2 molecules react to contact with IR long wave radiation and photons and even if he read and was capable of understanding it, he'd still deny it.
It's the same as arguing with a creationist.
The only point to doing it is for the lulz and mockery.
