5. In that case Houstonians might want to consider

relocating to higher ground.

2. Do you know how a "500 year" storm is defined?

Hint: It doesn't mean they happen every 500 years. It's a guess. One can happen twice in a month and then not happen for another thousand years;.

(And the weather in Texas has not been recorded for 500 years so nobody even knows when the last "500 year" rain happened.)

3. ".....Do you know how a "500 year" storm is defined?....."

I think our good friend Welles is too hung up on the weather, and needs a new hobby.

Does anyone remember when building those little plastic model airplanes and cars using a really vile-smelling glue was a popular hobby? I haven't known anyone to do that for years and years now. The only brand-name I remember was "Revelle."

6. Testors made the glue.

Supposedly you could sniff it to get high (and kill brain cells) but I wasn't much of a glue sniffer back then.

10. Not now either.

Somehow I missed out on the glue sniffing phase of puberty. (Like most sane people.)

4. We have only been keeping weather records for the U.S. since 1870 so.....

We don't really know if your claim is AT ALL accurate do we....since we've only kept records for 149 yrs?

Please keep trying though. It's funny to watch.
