These "we use cookies" pop-ups are more annoying than ads

At least when an ad pops up it might be something you want to buy. These damned cookie pop-ups are just an annoyance with no possible value added.

1. A lot of that comes from Europe

It's the law there.

2. I knew it must be something like that

since cookies have been around forever.

I do most of my surfing on a PC but I don't think I've come across one of those cookie warning popups on my phone yet.

3. It's all part of the EU's

"Right To Be Forgotten" laws. Basically you can delete or suppress your internet history there.
