Truck Wars: Best-Selling Pickups For 2018

Trucks continue to gain sales year-after-year. In 2018, there were 125,000 more trucks sold than the full year of 2017.

As it has been for 42 years, the Ford F-Series trucks were #1 again, and by a margin of well over 300,000 vehicles. Toyota Tacoma saw the biggest percentage increase in 2018, and the Honda Ridgeline was the largest drop.

A word to GM: Be careful, Ram is gaining on you since the new 2019 came out. Of course, with GM, and now Ford not reporting sales monthly, we’ll only know 4 times per year where they stand.

1. The Ridgeline is pretty pointless. It's unibody.
