1. For the AM band scanners, 650 Nashville, TN is beaming wall-to-wall here in midmichigan

tonight and the Grand Ole Opry didn't disappoint.

6. "Rainbow at midnight" is one of my favorites. Only time I saw my WWII vet dad

tear up one night when hearing the song. He signed up for the Army the week after Pearl Harbor leaving his yet to be wife, my mom behind.

Talked damn little about his service and the most I know came from my Grandma and the Army reported to her he went mia during the Battle of the Bulge. He absolutely hated the Christmas song "Silent Night".
