WSB 750 a.m., ("Welcome South, Brother")

Heard in Erie Pa. at 23:30 Eastern DST, over 800 miles away.

Loud and clear.

Double superhet gets it done. Triple conversion reciever.





Note the empty colby cheese and cracker wrappers...

1. {{{yawn}}} fairly normal here in mid-Michigan with a GE 7-2946B with a broken tuner

Display... Stock, no add-ons.

Used to catch replays of Neil Boortz back in the day...

At times they drown out zoomer 740 with such a strong signal which will piss me off.

Not as spectacular, but in 1997 one particular sunrise going home from 3rd shift, I talked to St. Martin Island on a heavily modified Cobra 148 GTLF. SSB.

7. Mine was a Royce that was mounted overhead above my rear view mirror in a 70 Mustang Fastback

that had flat black aluminum louvers on rear window.
