Lost my cellphone today

never happened b4 . . .

Called it, no answer, but it's obviously still "alive" wherever it is - I wanna lock it, and see if my provider (telus) can do that and/or locate it, but no idea how to do that. Its an android Samsung G7 and I'm just on a pay as you go thingy - no internet access, by choice - all I wanted it for was an occasional phone call and the camera.

hints, how to search etc,

5. I got that RCW . . . .

"insurance"

After seeing the wreckage of my home all afternoon yesterday, took me all of a nanosecond or two to "get it"

anyhoo my chum is more like me than I thought - not addicted to his cell phone like too many people I know.

He keeps his in his 4x4 - that's it's "home" so that's why he didn't discover it when I called mine 3 -4 times overnight. He just found mine when he checked for his phone this morning . . .

He just left, minutes ago after visiting and first thing he said was "how come I got ur cell phone" - I pointed to his, sitting on the shelf by the door.

it's all good.

6. It turned out as I hoped/suspected

It was an unintentional swap while he was helping me out yesterday - neither one of us keeps the cell phone on his person much, and we both unknowingly picked up the others without checking it desperately to see if we missed anything.

We just "swapped" back about 20 minutes ago . . .

I made a point not to "snoop" while it was here , I hope he did the same.

There's some "selfies" in there I'd rather not share

My phone is set up for phone only, no internet - by choice.

It's easy enuf to do, and plan prices are not prohibitive, but I lost all my cameras in the fire, and this Samsung J3 has a much superior camera function than my old obsolete flip phone had - I replaced the old flip phone more for the camera function than any other.

Flip phone worked pretty much flawlessly.

OH - I can get an app that will lick my phone? -

"Many antivirus apps Like Norton security have a feature to locate and or lick a lost phone."

Is there one that will lick ME? . . .

If there is something the requires the internet for my phone,

it ain't happening
