Was Anyone Else Affected by the Denial of Service Attack?

http://www.wsj.com/articles/denial-of-service-web-attack-affects-amazon-twitter-others-1477056080

Even now (at the time of this post), I can't access 538 or the Guardian newspaper. All I find is a message that the server can't be found.

Is this happening to anyone else? I'm in the Pacific Time zone, though the article above says that it is affecting the East Coast.

Edited to add: I can't reach Twitter, either.

1. Twitter is off line for me.

Forced me to go to Reddit to find my Trump and wikileaks news. Great stuff there.

3. Major cyber attack disrupts internet service across US and Europe

US officials are investigating an attack that caused widespread online disruption on both sides of the Atlantic on Friday.

The Department of Homeland Security has begun an investigation into the DDoS (distributed denial-of-service) attack, the Guardian confirmed.

The incident took offline some of the most popular sites on the web, including Netflix, Twitter, Spotify, Reddit, CNN, PayPal, Pinterest and Fox News – as well as newspapers including the Guardian, the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.

The attack seemed to have been focused on Dyn, the company that runs the internet’s domain name system (DNS).

6. Here Is a Good Article

Love the title, too.

It lists some of the biggest sites that were affected.

Here is a map of the areas affected in the US.
