My main email account was hacked

This is not one of those free accounts like Yahoo and AOL, it's my main account.

Hacker used this access to change my Amazon password with the forgot my password thing. They also changed my Amazon email account of record to aggej.mixeev.88@mail.ru

They used my account to sign me up at about a million websites, so I'm covered up with emails saying, "Thank you for agreeing you want to be spammed to death by us." That was the tip off. As first order of business I changed my main email account password.

Amazon fixed this up for me, bless their hearts. And Discover blocked purchase of a $500 camera from Walmart. Since I got onto this quickly, I think I'll be OK except for having to unsubscribe to emails from websites in Arabic and Russian. I first thought the spam avalanche was a dumbass move, but maybe they hoped I would be less likely to scroll down to the email notifications from Amazon and Discover.

I hate Russians.

9. I am not sure it was Russians

I am assuming the @mail.ru email must have been some sort of indicator. What do you think about that?

7. A script kiddie from NYC

can create a throw-away email account on Mail.ru.

Talk about delusional tunnel vision!

The current “Russian hacking” hysteria is a perfect example of how this works. No one aside from total morons actually believes this official narrative (the substance of which is beyond ridiculous), not even the stooges selling it to us. This, however, is not a problem, because it isn’t intended to be believed … it is intended to be accepted and repeated, more or less like religious dogma. (It doesn’t matter what actually happened, i.e., whether the “hack” was a hack or a leak, or who the hackers or leakers were, or who they may have been working for, or what whoever’s motives may have been. What matters is that the ruling classes have issued a new official narrative and are demanding that every “normal” American stand up and swear allegiance to it.
