Trump Planning To Ease Immigration Restrictions On Skilled Workers

H1-B holders in the United States can rest assured that changes are soon coming which will bring both simplicity and certainty to your stay, including a potential path to citizenship. We want to encourage talented and highly skilled people to pursue career options in the U.S.

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 11, 2019

Trump hinted that an immigration policy that many of them have long advocated for could soon become a reality.

In a tweet, Trump said changes are coming to US immigration policy that would simplify the application process and clear a “pathway to citizenship” for H1-B visa holders – a cohort of workers, including doctors and software engineers, who are highly educated and work in highly specialized industries.

Trump has long claimed that he wants a larger share of immigrants coming to the US to consist of skilled workers. And by making it easier for skilled workers to stay and settle in the US, he can simultaneously placate Democrats and pro-business Republicans.

4. skilled workers are WORKERS, not welfare leeches or criminals

800,000 US Citizen (who are not welfare leeches or criminals) are not being paid.

Private sector contractors with US Government contracts under cut US Citizen's compensation.

Who should get the job? US Citizens or HB1 foreign workers?

Federal employees manage contractor compliance, private contractors manage their employees (HB1).

The private contractors have been paid upfront for start up, quarterly for work product, plus extensions, etc...

The Feds who review, inspect, report, require compliance are not being paid.

Cost over runs. Defective products. Out of sync operations. Delayed completion of projects.

Billions of dollars...............................

That's just part of the government, like NASA.

6. That is a matter of perspective

For example, the NEA, EPA and DOE are unnecessary. HHS is mostly redundant.

"The Feds who review, inspect, report, require compliance are not being paid."

Thanks for making my point. It isn't about actually DOING anything. It is about compliance.

But I love YOUR opinion: the federal government is there to provide compliance.

BOW BEFORE ZOD, AMERICAN CITIZENS!!! COMPLY OR BE PUNISHED!!

The only possible interpretation of your post.
